Love this facility. Got a nice big gym, a pool, and a professional masseuse all in one place

Been coming here for almost 2 years and they have the worst customer service. Membership is over priced, they charge for towels, and you have to pay extra for parking.

I tried cancelling my membership in March as I needed to leave the state and was unable to cancel until back in Minneapolis in August. I went back in person and cancelled the membership in August and was just charged AGAIN for another month of fees. I was told my membership had not been cancelled and I would need to come to the location to cancel, although I have left the state. Do not trust this company. I needlessly got charged for April, May, June, July, and August. The facilities are nice but at $70 per person, these membership fees are outrageous and customer service is subpar at best.

Minneapolis is a great city for extracurricular sports for kids. This Y is typical...really dedicated folks with a real connection with kids. Ample parking beside the entrance. It's a YW, so they welcome girls, but boys find it friendly, too. Like all Y's swimming is their specialty. And, they have programs for all ages. My connection is through my two grandsons who love it.

Been going here for years upon years. Plenty of room, relatively clean, good classes. Don't expect 5 star service. Seriously, it is a "gym". If you want a 5-star treatment they, lift those weights, run those miles and swim think those laps.

I’ve had a membership at this gym for about 10 years. Improvements have been made wirh an upgraded gym and locker room area. The specific issues thar bother me are the unfriendly member policies like if you forget your parking pass you have to pay for the parking. They have no way to validate a pass so you are out the money even if you are paying for the $10 monthly rate. The member services staff also isn’t available during posted hours. To put your membership on hold will take at least 4 or 5 tries or waiting for an hour.I wish they would not make such simple issues so painful and annoying to deal with.

I was member for about 5 years and recently left due to moving out of the area and not being completely happy with the YWCA anymore. Overall the facility is great and offers many free classes to members. However, during the after work hours, it is just too busy and the midtown location parking lot is a nightmare. Too many non-members (mostly people using the sports center attached to the midtown location) use the parking lot without penalty. And their solution? Make members pay for parking in addition to their membership, rather than ticketing those who shouldn't be using the lot in the first place.

Amazing gym ! Community gym with an amazing atmosphere. No annoying loud music and no silly people yelling down the phone. There's a level of humility that you don't find in other gyms. An overall chill out vibe. Also have great communal areas where you can read and work. Very good equipment, just a shame that the boxing bag is a little old and too hard for kicks, but still good for punches.

The equipment and classes are fine. Facility is well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. Caution: lots of kids. Check schedule for open pool times. Visit website to find a class to suit your needs. Towels available ( you pay) and parking ramp available (you pay).
