Floyd and McHenry locations stopped taking Active and fit direct memberships. This is so that they can jack up prices. Active and fit direct was an employee benefit for health from employers but looks like In-Shape doesn’t care about that.

Great gym!! Check them out this past weekend because I was looking to get a gym membership. Everyone was super welcoming and professional as well as helpful. We got a tour of the gym and the lady was very informative. Huge cardio area as well as free weight area. Two pools. One indoor and one outdoor.Definitely going to be joining this gym.

Depending on when you go it’s a good place to workout. Everything is clean and works which is a bonus. The staff is usually really nice, especially early in the morning. If you go later in the day it’s crowded and usually have to wait which sucks.

1st red flag: I offered to pay an entire year’s membership in advance and they said no simply because I wanted to pay in cash. They insist on getting your bank info, routing numbers, etc. Brazen scam artists; just check their BBB complaints & small claims court records. They want to latch onto your checking account like leeches until you're forced to call their corporate office multiple times to complain, or you're left with no option but to close your checking account! Took a relative of mine 3 months to get out of his contract after he moved- stay away!!

Very unhelpful desk folks and no options for out-of-towners. Visiting the area for family and wasn’t able to find anything feasible to get access for a week.
