In-Shape Family Fitness

I appreciate using the equipment when I go to in shape. The days that I do not go I walk in my neighbourhood. So I feel I can do something every day to keep physically fit and I do not get bored of exercise. I can tell my body is more physically fit when I get simple activity or when I push for body strength. I like this better than not doing any exercise at all. My blood work numbers are better and my doctor is happy with what I am doing.

9ft pool is great. Lots of stairs for the steppers out there, and the outdoor area is pretty nice to relax, workout whatever you need. Maybe resort would be the way to go for global traveler's since there are partnerships with worldwide gyms.

As much as I love coming to this gym I’ve been a member for more than 6 years this place was worth what you paid but ever since it went new management the cleanliness has gone downhillSauna which is one of favorites is never clean and when we ask front the desk they say they clean all the time. Not true.. I visit the sauna everyday so I see when it’s clean and when it isn’tManagement isn’t doing its job like previous managers.

The assistant manager Craig volunteered to give my husband and I a tour of the facility. He walked us over to get our kids checked in, answered all of our questions, and was knowledgeable about both the McHenry Facility, but also In-Shape in general and COVID openings and what it was going to look like. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The facility was very clean and well stocked! I love the way everything is set up and also the outdoor set up.

The employees here are incredible! They are extremely friendly and helpful. I feel safe working out here as they require masks and a temperature check before entrance. Appointments are required so that there are not too many people in the gym at any time. There is an abundance of cleaning / disinfectant supplies around the gym. There are many machines / workout stations here to easily allow adequate spacing.

I love this gym. Negative first: the people that go there are not the cleanest or most respectful, but that’s out of control of the gym itself. Staff is mostly great. I had really positive interactions with management. The gym has a fantastic assortment of equipment, lots of high end hammer strength machines that would make most gym rats happy. Hex bar and several squat machines. For the amenities, the price is a steal (compared to what I paid in a big city). Easy sign up and cancellation.

Good place for a few hours in the pool or try some racquetball. Get in a little workout. Has a child care facility for your young kids while you get in a workout

The gym is always clean, the staff is so helpful and friendly, and management is always engaging and on top of everything! Tyrone and Alanah make a great management team!

The gym is... a gym; however I joined the gym so that I could bring my children to their "kids zone" while I worked out only to find that their kids zone hours are not kids friendly and if the kids zone (that costs me extra each month) is "full" then I can't work out. So, I don't get to use the kid zone although I've paid extra specifically to use the kid zone.

The pool is a bit too warm for lap swimming...should be solved by talking to management. The moment I got in I was thinking man this already is warm enough to relax like a hot tub. So it gets too warm to swim for exercise.
