They let me sign up while they are closed for construction. There was no notice online that this location is closed.

Just got a membership about 2 weeks back and started my fitness journey just for them to randomly close down . Went in today and said they will not be open till July 1. Wish I knew this or I would have bought a different membership elsewhere that wouldn’t close down on me, but now I’m stuck in a contract, nice.

Half the equipment is always out of service for weeks at a time .. seems like can’t get things repaired on time …

You paid cheap, you get cheap service... A lot equipment damaged... more than a month and equipment is not working... If You want cheap!! This is the place.

This Planet Fitness is never full. A couple machines I want to us have been broken sine February. Staff says they are waiting on parts. For how long do we wait? This is bed for business.

after 7 yr. break I rejoined and I sched. appt. to tan. I had to clean the bed and cleanup someone's leftover food. Unbeknownst to me the mens bathroom was closed and a construction worker directed me out the back door to port a potties. When I returned to tanning room the bed was already on. Too much broken equipment, place is always under construction, and the manager I spoke with is nice but has no answers besides “we’re doing our best.” No dates on when things will get done. I’d go to the other location but that one’s always busy because of the lack of equipment they have here. Can you not fix equipment and do construction at the same time?

A lot of the equipment has been down for months. It's also super busy around the times I go, so there's a lot of waiting for machines or benches. Staff are helpful though, I just wish the equipment would get repaired and just generally less busy.

Manager Jasmine is the best. The staff is amazing. I've been coming to this gym for several years and some of the staff members over the years have become lifelong friends. For those whining about the equipment, toughen up! It's a gym, not a wellness retreat.I highly recommend coming to the Orangeburg Planet Fitness!

This is a good club for a great price. Renovation is underway, so it should even get better. I am not a small woman, but I have experience at several gyms. This gym is functional, and I felt very comfortable.
