Great environment. Great staff. Plenty of equipment to match your gym goals. An abundance of classes to choose from throughout the week. I am satisfied with my membership. I highly recommend the kick off sessions for each new member. The trainer's are great at their craft and will help establish a plan to achieve your body goals. They will keep you accountable on following your plan.

This place disgusts me. The owner (manager) is rude and need some customer service training. I cancelled my membership just after a month, and even after notifiying them ahead of time, they still charged me an extra month. I probably would've came back, but the way they treated me at the cancellation process, I would never come back to this gym again. I felt like I was robbed.

Gym is great. Best times to go are early morning or early afternoon not too crowded. Had so necessary weight and workout machines. With plenty of space for regular workouts.

I moved out of state and I want to cancel my membership. I've tried calling and sending a letter to the gym and they refuse to cancel my membership. If you're joining this gym, be prepared for a lifetime commitment because canceling it isn't possible. Corporate calls this location a "franchise" and refuses to assist in cancellation.

This gym is clean and the staff are energetic. Compared to some gym i have gone to where the staff are all bored and in a depressing mood. This gym doesnt get to crowded and you dont feel judged at all. Definitely the best gym I have been a member of.

Crunch Norwood is a gym with good equipment but only problem is the stuff there with too much attitude, which i hate! I've been their member for 3 years but suddenly the stuff's stats showing their attitude including the manager. I am probably leaving crunch because I need to workout in a good and friendly environment not with moody workers around. because you will loose the encouragement after they treat you like you are no one.

May 2017I first got a free pass to try out the classes for this location in the beginning of May. Loved it so i decided to sign up at my home gym the The Hub. Before signing up i read up on the different types of membership option and i finally decided to go with peak membership. It offers entry to all essential locations in the US and the use of classes. I usually go to this gym on tuesday and thursdays because they offer 6am classes.Today, i entred the gym and while i was going to enter my phone number to get the ticket for the first and second class, i was approached by the gym manager rudely. She told me since this gym is not my home gym i wont be able to take the class unless i paid. After explaining that I traveled 4 miles eargerly to take these classes she finally let me take both classes. I've never had an issue before today.I really felt like i never wanted to walk back into this gym after the rude encounter.Update 6/28/17I decided to join this gym due to offering the 6am classes on Tuesday's and Thursdays. I must give credit to the instructor Belkis who is always on time and gives a great am workout. We need however more 6 am classes throughout the week, just saying. The three stars is because some employees do not greet you and because the weekend classes start a bit late. Would be great to have classes beginning at 8:00 am. Overall, I am happy with this gym.7/7/17I've been attending the 900 am classes every saturday since june. I notice the instructor performs the same moves and does not seem that motivated to teach the class. I wish he would switch up the moves due to how our body adapts and wish the music was a little louder. I might stop going to this class due this.

I visited this location in April 2017 using a trial membership. I have been a member of lucille roberts for years but due to their recent closings of so many facilities I have decided to look elsewhere. Although the facilities itself were great the downside for me was the customer service. On first sight I was ready to join because the facilities are really nice. But my interaction with the staff changed that quickly. While using a treadmill I was approached by someone who never identified themselves as a staff member. He began asking me how long I would be on the machine. I thought it was a odd question because the gym was not full and again I did not no this was a staff member. So I asked why he was asking this. At that point I was told that they were supposed to move the machine but that they would let me finish. Well - let me back track- he said that after I asked why was there was no sign on the machine because I didn't appreciate being interrupted. So I continue but sometime later I'm approached by a woman who jumps up on the machine to inform me that I should move to another machine. I simply reply yes but finish my last 2 minutes. But before the 2 minutes could run out Im approached by another staff member who this time has a sign in his hand. At this point I let this staff member know that I thought the staff was rude and disrespectful. He simply shrugged off my comment and replied "but are u finish now". Strongly reconsidering joining that location and thankful I hadn't joined yet. The staff definitely needs training in customer service but I'm not sure it would help because common courtesy simply takes a bit of common sense.Part of the staffs job is to make the gym run smoothly. It doesn't take a genius to know to put a sign letting people no not to use a particular machine. But what's even worse to me is that I was told I could finish but then be confronted repeatedly as if I did something wrong. The customer shouldn't have to tell the staff how to do there job!

I transferred from 24hrs Fitness Fordham Road. Crunch Norwood has very flexible monthly payments depending on what you like; I love the massage and tanning booth. I also enjoy the fact that the customers are there for a good workout and not for fraternal meet-ups and chats; the place is super clean and non smelly; and the staff (overall) are helpful. The only downside is that the space is a bit small, but very manageable....this is perhaps, the best gym in The Bronx...
