Crunch Fitness - Murfreesboro

This gym has something for everyone. Daycare for children. Fun and high energy group classes, knowledgeable and personable personal trainers, tanning, hydro massage, and a very well-equipped weight training and cardio area. The gym has a great vibe that is welcoming, friendly, helpful, and energetic. The staff is friendly and helpful and the gym is clean and well maintained. I’ve been in gyms all over the country and none better than Crunch Murfreesboro!

This is the worst experience I have had as a parent at a facility that claims they offer “childcare”. The manager signed me my children up in the system personally and then retracted his comment about their ability to attend the kid crunch because I have four children and the limit is three.Before I began my membership I was reassured that they would be happy to accommodate the children with a. $10 extra charge (that was waived at one point before the story changed).I had no problem to pay the extra charge to invest in my health and fitness. Once I showed cooperation and continued to set my appointments, the story changed again and now they are saying that there is a limit to 3 children only.The manager (who signed my children up personally) said that they had made an exception on my behalf but didn’t think it would be a long term situation....This is a gym. You are supposed to sign up for a commitment to yourself. Now because I have twins and 2 toddlers that I can not commit this time and you duped me to believe we were welcome at the facility.So now I am reading it’s hard to cancel a membership and you stole my money under false pretenses????****Update****This matter has been resolved.

Crunch gym is honestly a great gym! Lots of machines and a relaxed, but motivating environment. I canceled my membership because it was just so far from where I live, but when I went in to cancel, Natasha (the manager) was SO nice about it!! She's so great and is willing to work with you in any way. I recommend a membership here out of all gyms in Murfreesboro!

if you happen to come in at 5 am and catch Schronna pumping some iron. make sure to tell her she’s the best employee at crunch!!

If you have to go in person and have a manager just to cancel a membership then it might be helpful to ya know have a manager present….waited over an hour for the manager when he was supposed to be there on shift..he “took a quick trip to the bank” but never showed back up.

Let me tell you guys how shady this place is. I signed up for a memebership long beore they opened. I had my first child about the same time of thier grand opening. Quickly I understood going to the gym was not going to be in my immediiate future.I paid for a membership well over a year even though i had never set foot in their facitily one single time. Eventualy I called and cancelled. After being passed around and easily verifying who I was and the card number on the account, I was finally given to some manager. They insisted I had to come in to cancel. Now they said it was for account security, but it is really their sales tactic to get you in front of someone who tries to get you to keep your account.Ultimately I go in. But the charges keep coming. I call back in a couple of months later and they want me to come back in the store again. I refused given I had already done so. I made repeated calls and was met with rudeness and hostily. I ended up cancelling that credit card becauase they would not quit charging me.These sorry folks have continued sending me to collections over chump change. This is not a good complany. My credit score was a 780. I pay my bills. I am curretnly filing disputes with all agencies. I highly recommend staying clear of Crunch Fitness.

I moved out of the county and have tried to cancel my membership MULTIPLE times. They refuse to do so, so I closed my bank account. Now they are harassing me with phone calls about my membership and they are still refusing to close my account. Do not sign up if you ever plan on moving somewhere they don't have a location. I am SO frustrated. I tried to cancel in person before I moved and they would not because there was no manager on staff at the time. I have emailed customer care multiple times and they never respond. Front staff always tell me i need to come in at specific times, which are always when i am working one of my three jobs. If you are busy, try another gym.

Better than my previous 2 gyms in the aspect of working and available equipment. Women's locker room is typically clean, with the exception of the bathroom stalls. Sauna is hit or miss...some days it's hot and some days it's not. Full length mirrors would be nice in the locker rooms after getting ready.

I picked Crunch fitness a year ago specifically for their childcare. Over the last few months there have been many changes to how they do thing and you now have to reserve a spot for childcare at least 2 hours in advance. Several times I have called to schedule childcare and they are filled for the whole day (at least around the times I was looking to go). I called this morning to schedule childcare for tomorrow morning (22 hours in advance) and was told they are full all morning. I have cancelled my membership as of today. Why am I paying extra for childcare in the gym that I can't even use? If you are looking at this gym for the "convenient" child care, look else where.

After about a year of being open the gym is showing some age. Lots of equipment down for maintenance. Recently moved and went in to cancel my membership, had to wait to speak to a manager for this. After patiently waiting I was assured my membership was canceled. Fast forward a month and I’m still being charged.
