Crunch Fitness - Murfreesboro

Positive - Gym is large with ample room. Equipment is nice. $13 bucks a month is great.Negatives - Men's bathroom is completely nasty. I've texted them about it twice, and nothing changes. Desk staff is bad. I went yesterday, (Sunday), and the guy at the desk didn't even look up from his phone when we walked in, OR when we left. Guy should not be working the front desk.

If childcare is important for you when looking for a gym this is not the gym to join. The fitness instructors are incredible I could not say enough good things about them. However you do have to call ahead to reserve nursery spots and they only have 14. It is very hard to get anyone to answer the phone and when they do it seems they have no spots let’s or only 30 min blocks of time.

Wow! What an amazing facility. Everything you could want in a gym and more. New equipment, tons of space and really clean. Staff is also very helpful and friendly. This is by far the best gym in town.

We joined up in March of this year, and would just like to say that our family thoroughly enjoys both the facility and entire atmosphere here at the Murfreesboro TN shop. First, we love that this gym has in house daycare for our kids while we’re working out and secondly, due to the daily array of classes offered, my wife has lost over 30 pounds and still going! A huge thank you to the entire staff that has made and continues to make our lives a little bit healthier and better every day! In addition, having gone to different gyms across the country, the staff here always goes above and beyond with being super friendly, professional and courteous to our boys while we go get our workout going for the day….so again my most sincere thanks!

I've really enjoyed this gym so far. My only complaint is the lack of structure for the power half hour lane. There is no way to actually do the circuit as everyone uses it how they want. I've tried several times to complete the circuit but unfortunately, without structure, there's always someone using a single machine for more than 15 minutes. Otherwise, the employees have been helpful and equipment clean. It isn't the largest place so it can get crowded quickly during prime time.Thanks for coming to Murfreesboro!

UPDATE**After reading many reviews about how hard it is to cancel a membership, I was worried to cancel. I move in a month, and just canceled my membership today in less than 5 minutes. Not sure where those reviews came from unless they were under a contract. I recommend this gym to anyone.I enjoy crunch and disagree with the reviews saying it’s not clean. It’s definitely the cleanest gym I’ve been to and all the staff is very friendly. My only criticism is that sometimes it seems the staff isn’t on the same page, as I have asked the same questions to different people and get different answers. It’s also a very popular gym and empty squat racks and benches can be hard to find sometimes. I wish it was a little bigger with more equipment, but overall is a great gym.

I love this gym. It has a friendly staff & people. They have great attitudes & customer service. It is big & enough room to work out. Great environment. One of the best gyms I been to besides planet fitness.

Great gym with super nice staff. I love Brittany she so outgoing. But be careful in the parking lot. I've been almost had my truck hit twice by people trying to hurry. And I've only been a member for 2 weeks. I don't blame the staff, just warning people out of decency

This gym may be new but they have got it together! I used to attend Planet Fitness for years but always wished they had a kids place so I didn’t only get to go at night when my busy was home to watch ours, now I don’t have to wait and go during the day. They are so sweet in the kids place and know my son by name without even looking at my account. The women’s locker room is always clean and stocked and the sauna is a bonus. I also use their personal training department twice a week and Trainer Kaye aka Kirsten is amazing! The whole department of trainers are all very sweet and encouraging and welcoming. And the prices for sessions are very reasonable. The gym always smells clean and is always clean. Tanning beds are great, as well. I haven’t made use of the classes or massage chairs/hydro bed yet but they’re next on my list!! *please let me know if this review was helpful*

Crunch is the newest globo gym addition to Murfreesboro. (As of writing this on 1/4/2022)We are fortunate enough to have many choices in our city so what makes Crunch Murfreesboro worth your $30/mo club fee?The first year of a gym is always great because they have new equipment. The treadmills, elliptical, isolation equipment, barbells, etc. As far I can tell they have great machines and plenty of them.My favorite part of the gym is their functional fitness area. As a kettlebeller I was impressed that they had nicer competition style bells all the way up to 100lbs. Very nice. You will see me swinging my steel clubs and kettlebells in this area. 👋For those with kids they have a day care area. That alone will bring people in as many people have to choose between watching their kids or fitness.The squat racks/lifting platforms are nice as well. There are about 8 racks. I prefer the rogue style power rack systems but having an individual lifting platform is nice.They didn't have the stretching/warmup/group fitness area open yet which would typically have your foam rollers and med balls as of Jan 4th.The locker rooms were clean and spacious. The showers are nice as well.. The Men's and Women's bathrooms each have an 8 person sauna.I can't comment on their personal trainers as I will likely not use one.As a new facility a lot of the cleanliness and new gym shine are to be expected. How the gym owners reinvest club fees into upkeep and maintenance will determine if Crunch Murfreesboro can compete with the other clubs in town.
