The facilities are kept clean and sanitary and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! The best gym I've been a member of. 10/10 would recommend, bring a friend.

Very clean nice variety of equipment.They recently reupholstered all of the equipment. They all now have sky blue or purple leather on them.

I'll never go back to Big Sky, solely because of their use of ABC Fitness Solutions. It doesn't make sense how it's legal to force you into a contract that is nearly impossible to cancel. For example, their website is fake. It has a few tabs that lead you nowhere and you can't do anything except pay them money. Also, when I called to cancel my membership, they wouldn't give me any sort of reference number and the associate wouldn't give me their email address. I must assume they will do their job and cancel my membership within this made up 25 day period.It's unprofessional and clearly a scheme to keep you paying.The gym itself was good and the staff was nice. It's a shame they use this billing service. Completely ruined my experience.Also, don't let them fool you! On top of your monthly membership, they'll charge you random "cleaning/maintenance" fees and up your monthly rate without telling you. Conveniently for them, the billing service will do nothing about it.In summary: Big Sky scams you into a contract that is very difficult to cancel.

Good amount of space and variety of equipment available. Honestly the shake bar alone was enough to keep me coming. All the staff is friendly and helpful, personal trainers are out of this world. Well worth it!

The staff are always extremely friendly and honestly just the best atmosphere that makes you excited to work out. Overall Big Sky is top-notch and I would recommend to anyone in the market either looking for a new gym or is wanting to start a workout routine!

Joined over the summer after relocating back to West Hartford. Hired a trainer as I had been mostly out of the gym scene since covid and at my age (63) the discipline of the appointments is just what I needed and I'm really enjoying the comprehensive body tone and tracking methods they incorporate. The protein shakes freshly made there are a real plus too.

I’ve been a member at Big Sky for several years now. I switched over when I saw my previous gym had no interest in updating anything after being a member for 5+ years.Big Sky has been night and day in comparison. The staff is always so friendly and they make the best shakes. The gym is updated and there are updates yearly. The best part is you know your yearly fee goes towards updates. The past gym collected the yearly fee and you saw nothing new for it. Big Sky will have members vote every year on what this money goes towards. Since I’ve been here I’ve seen them bring in lots of new equipment, add turf in two locations, and during the pandemic they had a overhaul of the entire gym and did everything from painting to new flooring.If you’re looking for a great gym around the area - this is the one to choose. It’s affordable, updated, the staff is amazing, and the members are friendly.

Before signing my contract with Big Sky I asked if I had permission to use boxing gloves and mitts with my guest from time to time because my friend and I like to train in boxing. Big sky is cheaper than most gyms and they have the space, so figured I'd ask. They confirmed it was okay, so I signed up.My 2nd day in this gym, one of the trainers approached me and my friend in the middle of our workout and said we're not allowed to use our boxing gloves and mitts. She apparently thought I was training my friend when we were clearly taking turns. I had told her that I was not training anyone and that I already had permission to use the mitts and gloves prior before signing up. She threatened to report me and have my membership revoked if I continued to use mitts at the gym. Completely ruined the vibe for us that day.She also mentioned that it was frowned upon to use mitts and gloves on our own because the trainers offer similar training sessions. I'm not going to pay extra for a trainer who doesn't even know how to hold mitts. Having a trainer certification doesn't make you a boxing coach.

Always a positive experience! Marissa is a great personal trainer, there's a very good kid care for children of all ages, and there are some of the nicest people working at the smoothie bar! Plus, the gym is always clean, and the equipment is always in good shape.I should also add that orlando's zumba class is an absolute blast!

The best. For the last 10 years I have been a member at Big Sky and I have never had a single bad experience. The staff has remained alert and friendly, always greeting you at the door no matter how busy! Every area of this place is kept clean. The locker room and showers are always kept up with as well, making it super easy to workout and shower before work. I have always felt a sense of home when I come here. Thanks guys!
