Great gym, has the largest variety of equipment I’ve ever seen. I only left because I didn’t want to make a near half hour trip each way when I have another gym down the street from my house. I was worried about canceling after reading so many people had trouble, but I canceled back in March and haven’t had any problems (haven’t continued to be charged or anything like that).

Rather than going around and checking on members wearing their mask correctly the staff members are all enclosed at the reception barely greeting members and using their personal devices all the time.I approached a staff member to let them know about some members not wearing mask correctly they apologized and did not do anything about it.Wake up Edge you are paying your staff members to work, not to look pretty and cool behind a counter. There’s cleaning to do, greetings to do, make sure everyone is wearing mask correctly and following cdc regulation, we don’t want to see our gym closed because of irresponsible members not complying or following rules.And please do not apologize after you read this email cus I read a lot of reviews and this is all what the edge does. We need actions not apologies.

Good, clean facilities, the cardio cinema is great, they're always playing good movies in there. Lots of great equipment and space to do just about any exercise you want. Friendly staff. Had a little membership issue, but Lauren, the manager, was VERY helpful and was able to fix the problem. Overall I'm really happy with this club and I'll be a member as long as I'm living here!

Edge fitness in general is a good gym, this location however is not the best. It is very disorganized and a lot of equipment goes missing so you end up spending 10 min looking for what you need or like me I had to buy my own ( clips, bars, cable attachment). The staff is friendly but the general manager Lauren is not qualified for her job. When I asked to speak to her directly about an issue I had she was very rude, dismissive, and VERY condescending. I tried to keep my patience and be the bigger person with the way she was speaking to me to see if I could diffuse the situation but throughout the entire conversation she remained hostile. At the end she said she would look into it and call me back the next day and I never heard back from her. Very unprofessional.

Great facility, great staff, great classes. Machines are well maintained, clean and relatively plentiful. Truth be told, it can be pricey, but if you're serious and dedicated you can find a way to budget and make it work. Actually, budgeting is a big part of it as the staff is knowledgeable in how you need to budget not only time and training but your nutrition to get the results you're after. Definitely worth it, in this reviewers opinion.

This is really the only gym I have access to with a 20 min radius from where I live so I pretty much have no choice but to go here. The equipment is great, often packed but you adjust but If there were other gyms in my area I definitely wouldn’t go here. For starters read your contract thoroughly because what they say they’re offering isn’t what you get at least not without a hidden fee and once you’re in they make it really hard to get out. Second this locations staff lacks diversity and it makes it hard to discern whether they are rude because of discrimination or just because they suck at good customer service. Either way staff, even managers are very standoffish towards me and unconcerned about satisfying people who put money into this establishment. I come get my workout in, avoid contact with staff, get out.

Been here a few times before. Nice newer gym. Equipment are great, but usually very crowded.Things are always good when they are going well.Recently had an issue with payment being processed (got a new card and forgot to update with them). I was charged basically a month for a one day payment issue.I had an issue with a payment being processed before (same thing.... new card and forgot to update with them) and do not recall getting hit with any penalty.I asked to speak to the supervisor, but was told that the supervisor was busy handling an emergency and that the supervisor will contact me in a bit. I have no issue with this. My problem with this location is the personnel are not too helpful when you have an issue.I was also in communication with someone else at this location and have asked that individual to have the supervisor contact me. No response.Personnel from other locations (Hamden and Milford) are more helpful than the people I interacted at this location.Nice new gym, but hard to work out here when there is no room.Based on the crowd size, the lack of response from the supervisor, I do not recommend this location to anyone.

I enjoy working out here. Love that I can get in early at 4:30 a.m. on a weekday. I work long hours and I’m exhausted after work, plus evening workouts at any gym are stressful to me because gyms are normally packed between 5-8pm. The front desk staff are always cheerful, even at 4:30 in the morning. I’ve even had a front desk staff take the time to show me how to use equipment. After my workout, staff members took the time to talk to me about hydration. I am appreciative of my interactions with staff. Great equipment, great vibes.

The Edge fitness facility was great. I enjoyed my membership there and I would have continued going. My only issue was with the billing company, ABC Financial. If I were them I’d find a new billing company. If it wasn’t forThat one factor I would definitely give them 5 stars.
