The gym is by far not small, it’s actually very spacious with tons of machines and a very nice locker room. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was told I could have a week pass and then was hard sold to join. Not nearly as nice as my gym Xsports. Do yourself a favor and save your money and just come to Xsports. It's 1/2 the price and 2x the value.

Fantastic gym, I just made the switch. Everything is always clean, great equipment, the staff is great. Couldn't be more happy to be a member here now! The overall vibe is A+

need more machines. All that space and lacking so many equipments. There are only 2 squat racks. The cardio area is too cold and the weight area is too hot. You cant carry your gym bag, bookbag or any type of bag with you or they will harrass you till you put it in the lockerroom. Need more shoulder machines and more leg machines. So 3 stars until they make your money worth.

MISERABLE customer service. Received an email FROM 24 hour Fitness. Fill out a survey and get a 30 day free pass. I filled it out, got my pass and went to Pelham Manor.Pelham Manor would NOT honor the 30 day pass. Told me it was not accepted at "new" clubs. I read the fine print, up and down, several times, and this was created excuse, that was not on the form. Was then told I could get 30 days free, if I signed up for a year. Again, the 30 day pass said, "no purchase necessary".Totally turned off by this bait and switch, or whatever you want to call it. 24 Hour reached out to ME. I was only looking to try the gym for a month, and then likely join. So, I left Pelham Manor, WITH my free 30 day pass, and 24 Hour not honoring it. Incredible personal touch over there...

It’s a nice gym and the people that work there are nice but the gym itself is a rip off. They charged me 6 times in 1 month for things i wasn’t told and then had the nerve to continue charging me on my friends account that i signed up with even after i cancelled. I wouldn’t recommend this gym unless you like being charged randomly.

I brought my friend to the gym for the first time on 6/4/18 in Pelham Manor, NY. She signed up for a 3 day pass, and one of your sales representatives, Anthony, asked if she'd like a quick tour. Instead of showing her the amenities, as he was supposed to, he immediately started asking her questions. Anthony asked "when is the last time you went to a gym? Well you know just doing classes alone is not going to do your body any good. You won't see results just from classes. How come it's taken you until now to come to a gym?" I stepped in and said " Anthony, she is here to see the gym, see the amenities, try a class, and decide if this is a place she feels comfortable in. But instead of encouraging you are discouraging and that's not ok." Anthony then tried to discuss our "genetic makeup", as if he knew our genetic profiles to justify why classes will not do anything to help my friend get in shape. Anthony proceeded to bring us to a trainer named Jason, to try & have him justify that taking classes won't be beneficial etc. It was out of line and completely inappropriate. Instead of apologizing he became very combative when I addressed my issue with both his approach and attitude. He claimed he was simply following company protocol. If company protocol is to lose potential customers BEFORE they've even utilized their 3 day pass, then Anthony deserves a medal from corporate. 24 hour fitness needs to make sure the people they put out in front (to make a first impression of the facility) are properly trained and demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills. I am very disappointed with the interaction we had with Anthony, and I'm sure we are not the first customers he's turned away from the gym.

I visited this location after signing up for a 3 day pass online. When I arrived with my pass I was greet by two friendly and helpful staff members at the front desk. I was then instructed to completed a brief questionnaire and then directed to another staff member seated at group of tables. At this point is when the level of customer service took an abrupt nose dive! The "person" that I was handed off to initially introduced himself to me but his name I can't recall (it maybe Mike). But I do remember that he was a heavy set male that appeared to a black/African American (not sure which he prefers). I personally was surprised that I wasn't allowed to experience the gym before being attacked with an immediate sales pitch and I stated this to him. He obviously did not like my question and raised his voice quite a few decibels to ask loudly "How am I attacking you?!!". How rude, ridiculous and unprofessional! As a customer service representative you should be capable of addressing all customer concerns without raising your voice like a lunatic. As if he could see I was about to explode literally he quickly handed my paperwork over to his co-worker David Ruiz. I thanked him for doing that. Clearly he wasn't very smart-no common sense or customer service skills-but he was smart enough to back down. In fact I saw David handle all of the membership inquires the rest of the time I was there. I never saw that barbarian interact with another customer while I was there. I was a bit disgusted that no one addressed him about him raising his voice to a customer which is why I gave such a low rating. I don't care what your company looks like or offers- a high level of customer service is everything in my book. Good customer service says that you actually give a damn about your customer.Truthfully! I have used passes for several gym companies throughout the years but I have NEVER encountered any fitness company that hits you with the sales pitch first. Usually your allowed to actually use the pass before before being asked to sign a contract. Personally I found it tacky and it made me suspicious. Especially after dealing with crunch and it's deceptive practices and lack of customer service. I had t9 complain to the BBB before Crunch addressed any of my concerns. I expressed the same thing to the new representative but he didn't explode but was honest in his explanation. He answered all of my questions and even some I didn't ask.The gym itself was better than any I've ever joined before. I also liked that they offered virtual classes which allows you to take a classes on your own if there is none scheduled. I was also told that a pool was being built but in my years of experience with gyms -I've heard that song before. Reading some of the older reviews that pools has been coming for a longtime now. Personally if I was looking for a gym with a pool I wouldn't join until I saw it.

I don’t know what everyone is talking about! The staff is super friendly the gym is always clean so are the locker rooms. You don’t need a huge space to change or go to the bathroom. And let’s not forget there is another locker room opening in a month. The trainers are top notch and my wife thinks the group fitness team are awesome

I really like this gym. It’s big and spacious. Lots of machines so I’m rarely ever waiting. The classes are fun and challenging but not over exhausting. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is that the pool area is still under construction when I was told it was going to open last month. It’s been under construction for months. Also the people who work at the front desk vary, some are inviting and say hello and smile, some completely ignore you and are on their phones. But other than that, really great gym.
