HealthyFit for Women

I grew up in Mamaroneck and live in California and every time I come back, I love coming to this gym. The staff is super welcoming and I have such great workouts at HealthyFit...It's so nice to be in a solid women's gym with excellent equipment! Already looking forward to coming back during my next visit.

I really love this gym! I just turned 60 and wanted to shake things up a bit. Planet Fitness was draining my soul, so I signed up at Healthyfit. I've never done group classes before and am so surprised at how much fun they are! Great instructors and the ladies I've met here are so nice and friendly! It's more expensive than I was paying but totally worth it. AND private pilates class with JoAnne has really lifted my fitness level, love her! This place has changed my life! Thank you Healthyfit.

I am a member here at HealthyFit and I absolutely love the atmosphere of this gym. I switched gyms recently and it was the best decision ever. Its very clean and everyone is super nice and welcoming. There is also a lot of equipment and space to chose from so I am never waiting around or crowded. They also offer a variety of different classes to chose from. Definitely recommend this gym to anyone interested in working out !

Wish I could nominate this gym for an award. Fabulous instructors, attention to detail (classes geared for older active adults are scheduled mid-day), locker room amenities, cleanliness a priority; sensitivity to individual needs and a warm and welcoming community. Priced in a member friendly manner. Large number of diversified classes. Community minded.

I've been going here for a while and its great that its only women and no one bothers me while I work out. It can be annoying to go when there are personal trainers because they take up a lot of space in an already small area. They also hog equipment they are not actively using. Another issue is the dumbbells, they only go up to 40lbs, and only have one set of these, and the heaviest kettlebell is 45lbs. This is my biggest problem and the reason I am actively searching for new gyms to become a member of as 40lbs is not enough anymore. If you do not lift heavy, then it is not a problem. The staff at the front are always very friendly.

My daughters love this place. It's safe and clean- the service is like nothing else I've experienced. We were active members of the Rye YMCA and my girls will never go back after joining a club like HealthyFit. It's just different. I know they've been through a lot during the pandemic and they always put their members first. I wish they would open a club for us guys! Thank you HF for being there for our community!

I absolutely adore this gym! The environment is perfect for all levels of fitness and everyone is kind. I found all the equipment that I needed, and I appreciated the large open space with the mirrors. The classes are my favorite fitness classes I've ever taken, especially the TKO, zumba, and cycling classes. I would highly recommend any class with Cecilia as the instructor. She's the expert at motivating you while making you feel challenged in a safe way, and I always leave her classes feeling so strong and powerful! I can't wait until I can come back to HealthyFit.

I have been a member at Healthy Fit for over 4 years and I have nothing but positive things to say. During the pandemic they have made it comfortable and flexible to pick and choose how we decide to return. Before the gym was opened they provided us with online zoom classes, outdoors workouts and a handful of classes available at your own time. Now that the facility allows members to come inside and workout, I can happily say that I've been taking full advantage! The equipment is cleaned regularly throughout the day and every other machine is open to cooperate with 6 feet social distancing. I'm so happy to be back to my old routine. Healthy fit has always felt like a second home with awesome trainers and staff. You won't regret joining this community of empowering women!

I have been a member of HealthyFit for Women for the past 4 years. My sister and I joined together to motivate each other. The atmosphere, trainers, and staff make it super easy to go and workout. Not only do I like that it is an all women gym, I love the personal individualized attention that I receive and the variety of classes/times to meet the needs of all members. When entering the gym, I am always greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. I have always been impressed with them but specifically the last few months during this time of social distancing. Unfortunately, the gym itself is closed but being the close-knit community centered gym that HealthyFit is, they made accommodations that suited each individual. Whatever your situation was, both financially and personally, they provided plans and options that worked for you. We chose to continue our membership on a virtual plan. This virtual plan consists of live zoom classes and a vault of pre recorded classes. As of right now, these live classes are scheduled multiple times a day, 7 days a week at all different times. The trainers and all staff go above and beyond to give their members 110%, whether it's at the gym or at their homes. They all truly care about each member and help you with your fitness journey. Whether it is fixing your form, providing modifications or just asking how your day was, they are always there for you! This gym goes above and beyond for their members and I am truly grateful to have a place where I can feel comfortable working out, while having fun doing it!

Healthy Fit is a great place to workout but if you want more then that, you've come to the right place. The goal of fitness is all things to many but here the objective is how you feel about you. In every way they can HF provides this opportunity through classes, training and small group sessions. The important focus is to build strong minds as well as strong bodies at all levels. In addition, there is nutritional guidance and support. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Come by and give it a try.
