All of the instructors were amazing with my son, they were firm, fair, welcoming and very attentive. They created an environment that my son was happy and eager to go to as often as possible. He learned a lot and we plan to continue instruction.

The staff is incredibly encouraging and inclusive when dealing with children. My 3-year-old son was naturally hesitant to participate at first, but he couldn’t help but be drawn into the friendly and comfortable environment that still espouses the ideals of self discipline and focus.After every class, he leaves filled with confidence and enthusiasm to the point of inspiration, where now his older sister has joined him; his older cousins plan to begin training at Igor Gracie’s new Eastchester location; and even I - his father - am dreaming about rekindling my involvement in the martial arts.If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate. Make the trip, be consistent and deliberate and you’ll see a real transformation of attitude in both you and your children.

My sons have been going here for a couple of years, since they were 3 and 4 years old. Igor and the instructors are respectful men who look you in the eye and have a firm handshake. Real men. The jujitsu is teaching them to be solid people and have strong character, plus the dodgeball game at the end is fun! They absolutely love it and we feel like family.
