Best krav maga instructor around fun classes with real self defense tactics

I have trained Martial Arts for over 30 years and I have known and trained Krav Maga alongside Sensei Vlad for the last 13 years. I have met many great Martial Artists, and many great teachers of Martial Arts. Sensei Vlad is the rare breed of being both. I recommended a fellow Karate practitioner to train Krav Maga with Vlad and she absolutely loves it and I was amazed at her self defense improvement after only a few months. Sensei Vlad is also great with kids, perfectly blending the balance of fun and serious learning; and targeting and working with each kid's individual abilities.

I have been extremely active in the martial arts community over the past 10+ years and can say with confidence that Westchester Krav Maga is the real deal! Sensei Vlad is an amazing martial artist who gives his all in every class. He's been a great help in not only my training, but every student's. He caters classes to the needs of the students, and makes sure to emphasize on the importance of real life situations. if you're looking for a new place to train- this is it!

I have been a member of this school for several momths. I can honestly say from a US Army veterans standpoint that this fighting style is very useful. Sensei Viladimir is the best instructor I have ever met in my entire hand to hand combat career. He is very clear in description of the techniques and will be sure that you understand the purpose behind them as well. I would encourage anyone interested in realistic self defense techniques to attend this class.

My kids go here regularly for karate classes. Excellent traditional shotakan karate dojo. Sensei Vladimir is a good caring teacher. Highly recommend this place if you have kids. Teaches your kids self defense and discipline.

Currently two of my sons attend classes twice weekly and the impact on their attitude, outlook and discipline has been very satisfying to see. Sensi provides compelling and age appropriate instruction that they look forward to and enjoy.

I have been attending Westchester Krav Maga for the last several months, and I have absolutely loved it. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and he also has a great sense of humor.I have learned something very practical with every single class (e.g. punches, defenses against being choked or grabbed, etc). It has also helped me get back into shape.I postponed coming to my first class initially because I wanted to get back in shape first after a busy stretch of work, but when I eventually went, I realized the key is just to show up. No matter where you are in terms of fitness or experience, you will learn very practical skills, be active, and feel more positive coming out of the class.
