I love OTF Astor Place! The staff is kind and welcoming. I had to make Astor Place my home studio because of how great the coaches and community are. Additionally, the workout is amazing. I have become so strong and I have seen growth while being a member. Highly recommend!

Amazing studio. From the moment you enter the front door, the staff is incredibly welcoming & caring. The coaches are fantastic, very warm & engaging with all the members, very knowledgeable explaining & showing the exercises and expectations. They will always make you feel appreciated and accomplished, no matter if you’re new to exercise or a seasoned athlete. It’s a pleasure being a member there. Personality of the staff & how they make you feel from the moment you enter to the moment you leave is so important! Love love love this studio!!!!!

This studio completely scammed and misinformed me. I froze my account back in February - April of 2021. I spoke with the studio manager Michelle Abercrombie on the phone if I wanted to unfreeze or cancel my account and I said I want to cancel. She said I did not need to send more forms because they had my information via docusign. I was never told I needed additional paperwork to cancel- she made it seem that the account freeze documentation would suffice. Now, they said I am unable to be refunded for the months all though this was an error on their end. I am not the only person who had had issues with cancelling OTF membership. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service, and feel a refund is the next step in this process.

Love this studio! They have made me feel at home since I started going there, and the coaches are just brilliant - every single one! OTF has changed my life and has made me feel like a new person with more energy.

This studio has without a doubt changed my life! I came to nyc from north carolina hoping to find an amazing community with killer group workout classes - and did I find just that! Some of the coaches and sales associates are truly some of my best friends and I’m so thankful. They are so supportive - if you are looking for a studio that will push you to be your best astor is where it’s at!!!! I have come SO far since starting with them in March! 💗

I am a big fan of this place. It's run very well (shout out Courtney) Coached very well (shout out Danny) and a great product (shout out OTF). I highly recommend and if worried you won't like it they usually have 1st class free specials.

I wish I would have had an opportunity to try this workout but I decided to cancel my first workout after a call from the Orangetheory team that felt like a scam. I feel sorry for the staff members that need to make these calls and bear the frustration from would-be customers, especially those of us who have heard nothing but fantastic things about the workout.I signed up for a class on 4/6 via the Orangetheory website. After choosing the studio I wanted to visit, I purchased my first class. The website offers a $20 first class, which is what I was charged at checkout.Between yesterday and today, I received 4 calls from the studio that I wasn't able to take because of work calls. When I finally picked up tonight at 6:30pm, I was asked a series of questions about how I heard about them, where I lived (???), what my fitness level was, etc. When I thought we were wrapping up the call, I was told that due to an "error" on their website, I wasn't eligible for a $20 class because the Astor Place location doesn't participate in it and that the actual cost of the class was $34. Did I want to pay more?After I pointed out that I shouldn't have to pay for a poor set up and not enough enforcement on their website, I was told that I also wasn't eligible for the $20 special because I live in Brooklyn and not in Manhattan. I reiterated how crazy this sounded to me and was asked again if I wanted them to refund the $20 class and then for me to purchase another class at full price. I decided to cancel out of principle.I've never experienced a customer service interaction like this and am appalled that Orangetheory continues to allow their website to be this misleading and thinks that making these calls will result in a good outcome for new customers.

Be very wary of signing anything with this gym. My daughter who is a college student had to stop 3 months ago due to injury and cancelled her membership. They have continued to charge our credit card $187 per month and I am now forced to fight my credit card company to try and block them and to hire an attorney to try and get $561 back. You can’t get a manager on the phone to speak to you. They don’t return messages.

Love the workouts, the energy, the staff, and the coaches! Huge fans of OTF - my husband and I go to the OTF Astor Place location - it's a lot of fun and the attention you get for a group class is really impressive. The coaches and staff know your name and know how to help and support you. OTF is really accessible for any fitness level from those just starting out to those who are really in shape. Can't say enough the coaches - especially the three we usually have - Brian, Jamie, and Angela.

I love this studio! The manager, Jordan, makes sure that all guests are happy, comfortable, and getting the most out of their experience. I am not shy to provide feedback on what it has been like to work out at Orange Theory Astor place, and Jordan makes himself available to listen. The workouts are thorough and efficient, and can easily be adapted. Sometimes I dont feel up to running, and there are always other options that still make me feel like my time was used well.
