The gym is on the small side. There are literally 4-5 machines for legs one of each type. At rush hour forget finding anything available. The terrace is nice with amazing views but the pool is not maintained clean! Many times I have to ask them to clean

Such a cool thing to see, wish the stairs were open the day we visited

Disappointed with the outdoor pool…it is always cold...I tell the guys at the check in but they don’t seem to care. I asked them to check the temperature of the pool. They told me they are not allowed in the pool which that was not my question. I signed up because I wanted to relax by the pool after working out/having a long day at work. Even the advisor compared to Sojo Spa, but not even close..the spa has a heated pool at least…overall I don’t recommend it. I don’t think membership is worth the $400/month. I’m just trying to relax and enjoy the place but it is impossible. I rather go to Soho House where the pool at least is heated

I have been trying to cancel the membership for over a month. They do not respond to my email. I have been told by 2 different propels that my membership was canceled but when I call next time it’s still active! Before signing up so think twice!! I don’t recommendREPLY: Finally! But you have never returned or canceled transactions you made during that period! One of your representatives told me they will cancel but they never did. You may don't know what verbal contract is

This place is decent but they always treat me different before my profile loads like I did something wrong. Then as soon as it loads they change their whole attitude. Do not know if this is part of the training or if it is because I am brown.

My summer happy place where I can relax, be lazy, get lunch or have a drink. Wonderful people (specifically Joey, whose kindness and quick humor is one in a million), keep the outdoor pool deck clean and have great energy despite occasional interactions with overly entitled guests. Everyone at the Broken Coconut— the restaurant at the pool— add to the good experience and keeps the pool vibes exactly what you need on a NY summer day. Grateful to have this space, run by so many incredible people, as my summer chill-out zone.

I know I was supposed to love it but honestly, too few machines and too crowded. They really should have a limit to how many go at the same time. My workout usually take 1h took almost 2h because of all the waiting around. Plus the food in the cafeteria gave me food poisoning 😅 but that’s not equinox fault… …

Not worth $400/mo. The gym is cool… staff isn’t very helpful. I like the pool and main studio, but they’re either over capacity or have some kind of class in session. I spend way more time waiting for space to open than actually working out. There is always a class going on so the main studio is never available. If it’s not in use by a class, it’s occupied by the cleaning staff which take 1 hr to clean mats and the room. The cleaning staff has an attitude and will purposely take longer than 1hr to clean a space if you bother them with a question. So that’s two consecutive hours the room is not available, which means it’s only available for less than 1 hour before the next class comes in to kick you out. Additionally,I’ve accidentally used countless filthy/stained towels and whenever I complain about these issues I’m just brushed off. I was treated with much more respect at ANY Planet Fitness.Essentially, you’re only paying for the name and the view.

This place is over rated and in the worst way. It’s always crowded. It reads more like a see and be seen nightclub than a gym. People aren’t here to workout. They are here to essentially show off in some way. The facilities are nice, but not nearly big enough. The staff is a bit of a joke, but I feel for them. This place has an ego and you can tell they weaponize this against staff. It’s like an eat or be eaten vibe and turnover here is noticeable. They do have a sunrise yoga class on the Edge that is a must do, at least once, for any New Yorker.
