Everyone at FT Belmont makes an effort to know you and welcome you, and the trainers and staff are uniformly kind, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and ready to deliver a challenging workout at your level. They hold you accountable in the most positive ways and feel accountable for your improvement. I can't recommend it enough!

Fitness Together, Belmont is the best! I have been going here since June '22 and for an year in 2016-17. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to their advice and help not only in the exercise part of Fitness, but also in nutrition, my latest physical showed a sharp reduction in my lipid levels to well within normal levels - before I rejoined, all lipid levels were above normal (and HDL below normal). Thank you FT Belmont for your commitment to your clients - whom you treat as your friends!

The Belmont Fitness Together ProgramI knew the Belmont Fitness Together Program was good; but I did not know how good. For years I had been putting off getting back in shape, chugging along like so many of us do, under the premise “Ignorance Is Bliss.” Now, age 70 +, it was time to begin. What the program entails:The program starts with a Fitness Assessment/ In Body Scan and a Functional Movement Assessment. The results put a stake in the ground establishing ground 0.Brian, Belmont’s Fitness Together manager, went over the detailed report of results, line by line. Brian answered my questions and discussed the individualized training program they would create for me based on the findings; a program of specific exercises to strengthen core, improve functional movement, improve balance and overall health. It would include cardio, nutrition, and a timeline of what to expect.Each training session begins with a series of questions: “How are you feeling, any aches/pains/ issues from the last session, what did you last eat today, how did you sleep last night, did you do cardio, how often?"•Answers are duly recorded as are results of each exercise during each session. Regular adjustments are made to upgrade my program as you progress.•Each trainer I have worked with, and I believe I have worked with them all, has significant technical knowledge from education and experience•Each trainer is able to articulate and demonstrate the correct way to do the exercise, no matter how many times I ask them to repeat.•Each trainer motivates, in their own way, without pushing past my comfort level “we are going to go for 12 to 15 repetitions, let me know at any time if you want to stop…, rest a minute, have a drink of water, tell me when you are ready…” “that’s great form, much better this time.”Fitness/strength training and nutrition.•I knew fried clams every night was not optimal•I did not know being hungry from not eating prior to training means the body converts muscle cells into energy, leaving the fat cells alone.•I did not know meals should ideally consist of so many grams of protein, carbohydrates, and fat.Today, four months and 40+ training sessions into the program, I feel better, have a lot more mobility, energy, and understanding of what it takes to stay in shape.I also recognize I still have a way to go to be where I want to be. It is a good thing the body is the only machine that gets better with use. In a very busy world, the key is not to let it sit in idle for so long.

I joined FT Belmont almost 6 months ago and it’s been a fantastic experience. Everyone there, the owners and trainers, are knowledgeable, supportive and friendly. The place is incredibly clean (was just completely remodeled!) and professionally run. What I like most is that ALL of the trainers know what they’re doing and make sure you use correct form so you don’t get hurt, while maximizing every exercise so you get the most out of your workouts.I’ve trained at three different Fitness Togethers and they are not all run the same. My first experience with FT was fantastic, my second was not, FT Belmont is my third and is awesome. I had always assumed all FTs stuck to the same philosophy and programs, but they don’t; it 100% depends on the ownership. If you’ve been to other FTs and not had a great experience, you owe it to yourself to contact FT Belmont. They provide you with a personal assessment so they can create an individualized program that is tailored to you. Every eight weeks, you’re reassessed so you, and they, know how you’re progressing…what’s working and what’s not. The trainers are skilled and supportive and the owners provide nutrition guidance too. Essentially giving you everything you need to succeed. Whatever your fitness goals are, give them a call, you will not regret it. I can’t say enough about the place and everyone there!

After an injury, I needed some guidance to learn new ways to exercise. The team at Fitness Together have exceeded my expectations! Their guidance with exercise - noticing the slightest details that help correct form, encouraging, modifying, has helped me progress without pain. They incorporate nutrition evaluation and education to help you reach your goals. As a life long exerciser, I have learned so much more than I ever expected. Welcoming and well equipped, highly recommend.

I love Fitness Together!! I've been going for a few months and have had great experiences with all the trainers. Everyone is kind, knowledgable, and patient. It feels like a really holistic experience in that we are always working on flexibility, mobility, and strength training with options to add in more cardio & nutrition sessions. I'm super grateful for this place and for their attitude of meeting people where they are and having a healthy mindset around exercise and fitness!

I have been a long-time client at Fitness Together Belmont. The staff is always motivating and encouraging. They are so knowledgeable and always work with you to customize the workouts to your needs. And they give you that extra push to stick with it and make progress. The atmosphere there is always welcoming, friendly and never intimidating. I always feel stronger and more confident after completing a workout session there.

Fitness Together in Belmont is a wonderful organization. All of the trainers I have worked with are knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivating. I have been very impressed by their ability to challenge me but also to make every workout fun and not intimidating. The studio is incredibly well run. It is a very organized operation. The recently renovated studio has terrific equipment and is always very clean. I appreciate being able to use the cardio equipment before and after my sessions. I can’t say enough good things about the trainers, managers and owners. They are amazing. Their support has been the key to my fitness journey. I look forward to seeing them several times a week! Overall an A+ experience.

Very friendly staff (all employees greet me by name when I walk in the door), newly updated facility (with a much better color scheme than before the remodel!), flexibility in scheduling with multiple trainers, and in general a very warm and welcoming place for people who might be nervous or intimidated about going to a gym.
