My family and I visited and we had a great time. This was our first time rock climbing and the staff were very helpful. We had a good experience so we will definitely be coming/going back.

Best friendly climbing place in Norfolk. No initiation fee before becoming a member (unlike latitude which is 50$) and no weird costs like card fee (unlike latitude again which is 5%). Free freezing if you can't go to the gym (not like latitude which is 8$ a nonth). This already makes a big difference, not feeling as a wallet... No extra stuff like yoga or videogames but that's not the main thing you would expect from a climbing gym. Large bouldering area, good wall with some auto belays and routes are frequently changed. And last but not least, friendly familial staff always here to help.

My grandchildren have been there many times, the facility is nice and they change up the climbing areas to give you something new. When there are only young ladies working they are lazy, and do not do what there job requires, HELPING!Mix up the schedule so that there are both male and female workers.

An absolute gem of a gym... all puns aside, the staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the routes were inviting and diverse in setting. I've been to many climbing gyms in my life and am a member at one in KY, but this one was a great. The bouldering section was amazing and included a wide range of interesting climbs, including a ton of beginner climbs for me, and a ton of more advanced climbs for my boyfriend who consistently sends V9s. The after 8pm deal was awesome! Next time I visit Virginia Beach, I will be sure to come back.

They had a special price advertised if you come the last hour they are opened. My wife called them to confirm because we normally wouldn’t come the last hour they were opened out of respect to the staff. When we arrived, the staff at the counter were really nice. Some old guy came up, I assume he was the owner. He said “you know we close in an hour right?” In a tone that made us feel like maybe we shouldn’t have been there. My wife explained that we had called ahead to make sure this was the deal. At this point the old guy became belligerent for some reason and started talking down to my wife. This was all very much unprovoked. We were just going to try the gym out because we wanted to find a place we liked to get a membership and the special price seemed like a good opportunity to try it out. We even said we would be happy to leave and come back another time when it wasn’t an inconvenience. The way we’re treated upon entering will ensure we will never return. This is a shame because we were really looking forward to the experience.

My partner and I love coming here, and our climbing has improved since joining. the staff are always welcoming and friendly, which is great since some climbing gyms can be intimidating. new routes are set frequently at a variety of difficulty. i am excited to watch this place grow!

My very first experience and they set the bar HIGH. Customer Service was awesome. You feel a welcoming atmosphere when you walk in, then they WOW you with the orientation. They knew that it was my first time so they checked on me often, but not in an uncomfortable way. They offered help and encouragement. The prices are great. Very clean facility. Comfortable and fun environment. Great indoor workout for cold days, like today!! I will be back!!

Yes come here . We enjoy this place so much its now a trip we are planing to make every 2 weeks . It's a great work out my 5 year old and 11 year old where exited and came out exhausted me and my husband claimed to so any age its good to come and enjoy they have veggies and experts areas so don't worry you'll be very safe. Once ally the front desk helper explain us every detail we felt welcomed and more relaxed and secured to start claiming the best time to come here are mornings so I'll say rigth at opening time its great. They have facilities like bathrooms lockers and even showers so you can definitely come ready with a change or clothe and go some place else. Plus it's wheelchair friendly the whole place its in AC and clean.. they also rent all equipment but on your fist visit it free.. there's a annual pass or a daily one you need to sign a waiver online or in shop either way you need to sign it. The prices are affordable an they also sell equipment. We really enjoy it .10 /10

Excellent facility. Was just $20 for my first visit, which included shoe and harness rental. Auto-belay machines means you don't even need friends!Walked in pretty ignorant of rock climbing and a little nervous of making a fool of myself, but the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They immediately put me at ease and it was very comfortable.
