Train at Norfolk Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (same building as House of Muay Thai) while I go to EVMS. Came for the jiu jitsu in 2017, stayed for Mack, he’s probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever met. Gym is clean, place is run well, and accommodates busy schedules.

I came to The House after already having years of experience seeking a new place to train when I moved to the area. As a professional fighter I wanted high quality coaches, teammates, and technique. They provided this and more, helping me achieve great things in the MMA world!

After trying BJJ other places in the area I found Norfolk BJJ@THE HOUSE and have been training there ever since. That was 18 months ago and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a clean gym with top notch instruction from veteran coaches and many classes to accommodate any schedule. Check em out!

Great place. Started my training here in July and do not regret a second of my time here. I’ve learned a lot. Some of the workouts have me wanting to quit and go home but the warrior mentality instilled here keeps me going. As Coach Jake says “pressure can break pipes but it can also make diamonds.”Highly recommend!

When I first stepped into The House of Muay Thai, I was immediately greeted with welcome and love. When joining the class the Instructor Jake was very detailed about drills and made it easy to understand the techniques. The Energy of the studio was calm and relaxing. Everyone that trains there are easy going and easy to work with when trying to learn the martial art! I would definitely recommend The House of Muay Thai to friends and family that wants to learn a new experience of a amazing Martial Art!

I came to this gym with a lot of problems going on in my life. I gained more than just my confidence back. I gained a family and a brotherhood. Ill always have a home in VA and that’s because since Day 1.. Jake, Jack, Gino, Chris, and Ryan taught me how to get up and keep fighting. Best shape of my life. Best time of my life. Period.

In these trying times, human kind stands at the mercy of war, strife, and nature's wrath. Our generation is faced with the grave choice of whether to continue organized human existence. As the Sword of Damocles looms ever-closer, I have been fortunate enough to test my mettle at the House of Muay Thai, and they have helped me train my body and mind to be instruments of tempered violence.I've also lost like 10 pounds. 😃

While on travel I was looking to get some training in and Jake and his crew welcomed me with open arms. No pressure no BS and great instruction. They were flexible in helping me have a home away from home to train. Can't wait to come back!

I've been going to the Fitness Kickboxing class for about a month and really enjoy it. The trainers are welcoming and supportive of students new to kickboxing. It's a great cardio exercise and stress reliever!
