I have been going to this gym for many years. They don't keep the paper towels rollers stocked. Also, The staff is always busy talking to each other and or on their phones texting. I guess this is the norm for staff these days. The online schedule is not always up to date. But since I have a membership I will still go.

Like every other gym in SoCal it's far too crowded. The only time I've been able to get a solid workout without waiting for every other piece of equipment is between 9pm and 4am. I liked the idea of joining this gym for the basketball court for cardio, but there is almost always a game going on by people that take up the entire court and block all 4 hoops. Unless you can work out late morning to early afternoon or late at night, don't bother. The only other complaint is the coed sauna, which is awkward for my wife and deters her from using it.On a positive note, the facilities are clean and there is a variety of equipment to choose from.

Facility seems okay. The staff on the other hand seems to know nothing about anything. I couldn't sleep around 4AM and my gym doesn't open this early, so I decided to check out this 24 hour fitness after signing up for their guest pass. When I stepped inside, there was nobody at the reception desk. I waited about 5 minutes and looked to a member who pointed me towards a silver haired gentleman. The staff member gave me a side eye while passing by the counter and leaned against the treadmills to watch TV. I went up to him and said:"Hi, I have a guest pass I'd like to use" and showed him the email (as instructed). He looked at me for a few seconds and hesitantly walked towards the desk like he didn't want to be bothered:"Well did you print it out?"... "You need to sign up for it there" (points to a kiosk)Right after he said that, he pulled a sign from under the counter top and put it within sight, while averting his gaze. The sign stated "Guest hours from 8am-10pm""Oh... okay. Can I pay for a day-pass?""I don't know. We don't do those kind of things on the night shift"From that point, I decided my time would only be wasted and left without further question. Not sure if the goal was to make me feel stupid or unwelcome, but getting a taste of this lethargic, eye-roll behavior so early in the morning felt surreal. He might as well have nonchalantly whistled after putting the restriction sign up, for comic effect. This is what happens when you rely on self check-in. The staff get lazy and the customer service tanks because the customers essentially service themselves. The most time effective response after my first question would have been:"Oh, I'm so sorry, we only do guest passes at [time range]."

Your basic 24h gym although this one has a lap pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms along with a basketball court and group spin/zoomba room. The equipment is generally well maintained but I have found some to be broken from time to time. It does get a bit crowded in the late afternoon and early evening when people get off work. Parking is plentiful.
