Wish temp control in the GenX rooms and the gym itself were locally based vs controlled by Corporate in another state

Nice facility. Typical 24 hour. Lots of machines not much space for free weights. Many treadmills broken at the moment

Most 24 Hour Fitness the Pool are small and some 24 Hour Fitness don't even have a Pool, I think this is inconsistent. Because if one Club has Pool all should have Pool too.

Extremely overprice, busy, and nearly impossible to cancel the membership. The staff and personal trainers are great. But when I needed to cancel my membership it took nearly a month and a half just to talk to someone that could cancel it.

Great workout facilities with good sized pool, spa, sauna and steamroom for before or after relaxing. Basketball court and separate floor exercise area are pluses. Classes in various workout concepts for all ages. All in all a good club.

A nice and large facility, but needs to be cleaned more often. The staff are mostly nice. The cardio machines are a little close for my taste, but everything else is good.

I wish I could give this company zero stars! A complaint has now been filed with the Better Business Bureau about their False/ Misleading Advertising practices.This company offers services with a Personal Trainer and alleges that an individual be permitted to cancel future sessions and receive a refund of the 5 paid sessions. The company indicates that you can cancel your future sessions if done within the first 5 days. In addition to the first 5 day window, the company alleges that if you are not fully satisfied after completing the 5 paid sessions in 30 days that you will receive a full refund. They promote a "Money Back Guarantee - No Questions Asked". Unfortunately, this is not the case.Upon completion of the first paid session, an attempt with the front desk was immediately made (same day) to cancel the session. The staff at the Frazee Road location purposely mislead, misdirected, and failed to follow up to cancel this contract until after the five day period was met. The store manager now alleges that there is no entitlement to a refund, and that the only solution he is willing and able to accommodate is to offer two additional sessions with a different trainer. The store manager also attempted to use bullying and intimidating tactics to say "You can have this offer or lose all of your money and have nothing at all!"Attempts were made to cancel these personal training sessions through 24 Hr Corporate Member Services, and they allege that they have no control or ability to provide refunds as this is "in club revenue", and this must be resolved at the club level. Unfortunately, it is 24 Hr Corporate who promotes these services on their website and promises a money back guarantee, so they should be able to assist in resolving these matters. After days and hours of attempting to speak with numerous individuals, this has now been escalated to a District Manager from whom we are awaiting a response.Do NOT pay for personal trainer services. They are subpar, and very costly ($56 each on promotion and $70 each without promotion).We expect this company to be held accountable to their contract and guarantee, and provide a refund. Additionally, due to the settlement recently reached in November 2017, 24 Hr Fitness is barred from making false representations or engaging in any unfair business practices. While the lawsuit and settlement reached was regarding a different marketing practice, this organization continues to make false representations about different areas. Ideally, they would be prevented from doing so in the future. Additionally, it would be helpful to warn other consumers about their deceitful practices, and terrible customer service in resolving these types of situations.

Good environment and for the most part the people at this gym are always willing to give pointers to the new guys. There are plenty of professional lifters that go to this gym as well. There is also a pool and hotub, along with a steam room and a suana. If you are somone who goes to supreme nutrition then you will see plenty of familiar faces there as well. Most of that comunity is very friendly and helpful as well.

Quite disappointing when you wake up early for a cycle class on the schedule and the instructor doesn't bother to show! Asked the person at the front desk and they had no idea what happened or why? Has happened to me twice in the last two weeks, once at Oceanside sport and 2nd time this morning at Carlsbad super sport? I would have rather have slept in! Or gone to work early and worked out later. Tough if you have a tightly scheduled day!

I was extremely disappointed with my latest experience at the 24 hour fitness in Oceanisde. With the current Wildfires near our home I wanted to take my 13 year old son to the basketball ball court to practice thinking the air quality will be better.When we arrived they said I needed to sign him in to which I proceeded to do. I was quickly approached by the manager explaining to me that my son can’t workout with me unless I add him to my membership. When I protested he said that this is the policy and that he just can’t let us “sneak” in. When I pushed back a third time he then said he’ll go and let us workout for a fee.I understand about policy but I’ve been a long time member that has never invited a guest before. I also understand that if my son was to frequently visiting the gym that we need to add him to my membership but we just wanted to play basketball in an area that didn’t have smoke in the air.
