This was an amazing gym for both beginners and advanced students. I had never tried BJJ before and the whole gym was so welcoming and willing to work with you. I had an amazing experience and would recommend for anyone wanting to give it a try!

Top Notch! I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in the door to the minute class was finished. Coach Ruben and the students pushed me and motivated me from start to finish. There was no question when we finished if this was for me. I signed up immediately and am definitely looking forward to what's to come! Thanks!

Brought my child here so she can get some physical activity. We were surprised to learn that she loved it. Everyone there is so welcoming and helped her break out of her shell. She loves going to class everyday and seeing her bjj family.

I’ve been training for seven months now. Physically I’m in better shape and much healthier. Mentally I’m more confident and in better mood. The staff are polite and engaging and always welcoming to new and old members. A great place to learn BJJ, exercise and better yourself.

This place is great; the instructors, the lessons, people and environment all breed excellence. If you want to try BJJ you couldn’t get a better experience here, or if you don’t you couldn’t find a better a place to explore something new. Vagabond is clean, friendly, welcoming and challenging above all else. I can easily put Vagabond above some of the top rated BJJ schools in Texas from personal experience and would recommend it to all my closest friends and family, and strangers alike.

I’ve been Training BJJ for about 1.5 years, and I recently had the pleasure of getting to train at Vagabond BJJ in Odessa. My experience there was better than I could have hoped for. They were kind enough to let me drop in while I was in town for work. Professor Rueben is top notch! He taught us some very cool no-gi and gi techniques that I hadn’t ever seen before. The facility was in great condition with a lot of space. The rest of the crew there we’re all very welcoming, super helpful, and very talented. If I lived in this area I would definitely train at Vagabond BJJ. It was clear to me that they have a great gym culture and excellent training for anybody interested in improving themselves. If you’re looking to begin you’re BJJ journey or just visiting the area this is the place for you. They truly made me feel at home. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Vagabond BJJ.

Great staff and teachers for my son ( Little Ninjas) and myself. Always pushing you to become a better you. Very professional and family friendly environment. My 4 year old loves it and is learning a lot. I actually won 2 gold medals at my first AGF tournament after only training for 2 months. When you are here you feel like family. Highly recommend it to anyone trying to better themselves.
