I've been going to Roy Complex since the 90's. Not a lot has changed. It has a weight room, track, basket Ball, racket ball, pickle ball, and pool. The pool is currently being worked on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They have terrible customer service, not a family friendly place. Specially the staff member Anita, she was very mean and rude about rules that were not posted anywhere.

This place was the rudest swimming place I have ever been to. No matter what we did my kids and I got yelled at for ridiculous things. DO NOT WASTE your money coming here. They are not family friendly at all.

We usually have a good time here, but the boiler at the complex is broken so the pool is closed. The guy on the phone said there's a possibility the pool doesn't open all summer, and that there's even a vote taking place soon about permanently closing the facility.

I was on vacation with the kids and they really wanted to go swimming but it was too cold for outdoor swimming. We decided to go here. It really isn't a good place for kids as there is a very small and crowded section that kids must remain. Also the staff was unfriendly. I watched a few families get kicked out for various unwritten rules.

We were told the basketball courts are available to reserve Saturday mornings for team practices. It is not written anywhere "basketball only." Online, we reserved and paid for multiple Saturdays for my daughter's soccer team to practice. The girls were wearing court shoes and using foam/indoor soccer balls. Another coach called in and asked to reserve the courts at the same time. The employee "penciled" in this team without checking availability. They made the error and double booked the gym. We were then told our reservation will be canceled because it's "basketball only." Soccer will "damage" the courts even though the girls were in court shoes and using foam/indoor soccer balls. We're extremely disappointed!!!

I grew up swimming at their pool and loved it. Have not been there for over 10 years. Took my boys there with their cousins today and there is a lady there patrolling the pool and she was a beast. We were told our kids can't jump off the diving board with any flotation devices on so i took them off my kids and she said they could not jump off because they would have to swim the whole length of the pool in order to jump off. Not sure why when they only need to swim 15 feet after jumping to the edge of the pool. Then we were throwing a football and she came and said we could not throw it because it could hit someone in the eye and hurt them, so we got a soft ball and she said we could not throw that either. So we started throwing our young boys in the air, she came over and said we could not do that because it was considered horseplay. Later I was about 15 feet away from 2 of my younger boys. They both had on US coast guard approved life jackets on. She came over and stated I had to be within 5 feet of my kids at all time. I asked why when they have on life jackets and I am close enough. She said for safety I had to be within arms reach at all times. I told her that was stupid and the rules had nothing to say about that. My kids were jumping off the edge and she came and yelled at me again. We decided to leave and while I did one of the female life guards came up to me and apologized and said they lady is crazy and has to micromanage everything. Her words not mine. I hope whoever this lady is gets fired, she doesn't allow anyone to have fun. She constantly yelled the whole time we were there at all the groups there. She made the day not enjoyable at all and we won't be going back.

We love the Roy Complex! My teenagers and I enjoy the gym, the pool, the indoor track, racquetball and swimming even the sauna on occasion. Their punch pass is a great gift for anyone!

Did swim lessons here a lot when I was little.....I see some negative reviews about lap swim but it's honestly probably because it was only 5 or 6 months since everyone was quarantined and that was …
