Orem Family Fitness Center in Orem, UT, offers a comprehensive range of activities for all age groups. The newly remodeled facility is well-maintained and includes amenities such as a large pool, family-friendly play areas, and diverse workout machines. The center excels in providing a clean, welcoming environment with helpful staff and numerous class options.
However, there are a few downsides. Some users miss the older racquetball courts, and the absence of flat and decline bench presses frustrates powerlifters. Additionally, the shared use of the track by walkers and runners poses safety concerns.

Orem has a beautiful Rec Center. The pool is great. As usual, things start to wear with the years, use and abuse

I recently spent 3 months working out at The Mecca, Gold's Gym Venice Beach, and this facility is scientifically proven to be ten times better, at one-tenth the price. Let's get our Rec Center to 4.9 stars where it belongs folks!.

Incredibly dangerous on the track. Has walkers and runners going the same direction making it super easy to crash into someone from behind. Staff don’t understand how any sort of running safety works. Membership not worth it for any serious runners.

Large, open, and clean. The Orem Rec Center has a lot of amenities including plenty of weights and machines for every level of fitness.Whether you want to swim laps while your kids splash in the kids area, take a hot sauna, or run around the upstairs track, Orem Rec Center nearly has everything... except for one critical piece of equipment:Real flat bench and decline bench presses. As a power lifter who focuses on bench press, I can't stand having to do bench press using a squat rack rigged up for bench press. It's not only dangerous to try either unracking the bar, it's even more dangerous to attempt reracking a bar with 405 on it, especially when doing decline bench.PLEASE purchase several flat and decline bench presses!

Clean facility and lots of things to do. My kids love the kiddy pool, lazy river, and slide. They especially love the indoor playground and the variety of obstacles to play on.There are a lot of free weights ranging from light weight to heavy weight, bar bells, weighted bags, medicine balls, jumping blocks, weight sled, basketball courts, pickleball courts, racquet ball courts, and so much more. Thanks Orem!

Love this place. Great equipment and good overall vibe. Cons, It’s not quite 2 years old, and the bathrooms look trashed. They need more/better servicing.

Went in here to take a shower. (Currently homeless and hotel hopping. But also working full time), I was charged $5 for the shower but given the luxury of the brand new facility, $5 was a totally reasonable price. The facility is well kept. Clean and well maintained. They had plenty of Staff on hand to answer questions and deal with whatever arose.

Brought the kids here on a Saturday night at 7 for a swim. They loved the play area that had a slide and water sprinklers. They had lots of lifeguards which was good. And I like the large private dressing rooms that families can use. Don't forget the flip flops. Nice huge hot tub too!

Lots of options for kids and adults. My kids love the indoor playground year round and the video game section is great for them to have screen time in a more social way then at home. They have so many free weekly classes for all ages and a great variety of paid classes all year round. We have an annual pass although the daily admission is fair priced and affordable if you don’t have a pass
