This location is pretty good overall when it’s not crowded. It has everything you need to get a good workout, although I wish a few things were different. First, I wish that employees wouldn’t look around and always target me as someone who looks like they need to do their free personal training session just because I’m thicker. I have health issues that are making me this thick and it’s really annoying seeing them pass a bunch of other guys and girls that are thinner to come to me during my workout. If I was interested and had extra money I’d bring it up to the front desk. Another thing I wish is that the bench press benches were a little lower like Provo’s. I somehow cant bench on the flat Orem ones anymore because it gives me back pain and it never used to happen at Provo. My form is accurate and hasn’t changed so I think it’s the bench height. There’s also not enough weights(plates) in the bench section. I also wish they had more variety of cable attachments like ropes(the kind Provo has that are longer with knots at the bottom), curl bars for triceps and lat pull down bars with the rubber handles. Plus, they need at least one or two more places to rack the attachments because everyone just throws them on the floor which is super annoying. The sled machines don’t move up and down without tension which feels like you have added resistance when pushing up(like it’s rubbing) and I personally don’t like that because it means I can’t lift as much. My last complaint is about cleanliness. Lately I’ve noticed the cubbies by the green track are very dusty and the machines need a deep clean. Some treadmill cup holders are looking nasty and the stair steppers always have dried up sweat. Having hand sanitizers around a few places would also be nice!

They almost force you to call in to cancel, even though they have an app that supposedly allows you to cancel online.Probably the sleaziest gym I’ve ever had to deal with when it comes to canceling or the amount of late charges they throw at you if you forget to pay your monthly membership dues.

The membership is cheaper than the other gyms I’ve been to, and they have a bunch of equipment which is super nice.My only negative critics are that no one reracks their weights, and the squat racks are dirty.

So overly crowded all the time. Cancelling ASAP. To many students with no respect for others trying to use the machines. To cancel is more then signing up. Don't fall for it. What a jungle.

Prior to my recent negative experience at vasa. I liked it here. But I got extremely sick last year and spent a few months with heavy fatigue. I tried to contact managers to discuss my account. But no one reached out to me. I was bounced around with their offices when I tried to call and no one picked up their phone. My account unfortunately went to collections. The staff are negligent and have a lack of care/empathy toward members with urgent needs. I will never purchase another membership under vasa fitness/the silver oaks brand. And will continue to advise my friends to not pursue their fitness goals here.Overall an okay gym but if you have issues with your account. AVOID this place, they do not care.

It’s SO dumb that they charge a cancellation fee. Also the vasa at Spanish fork lets random parents in to hang out at the kid care. Sooo weird.
