great equipment, terrible staff. Been a member since december, but theres a few staff members i like lol. Ive seen trainers not sanitize equipment after using them with clients and taking equipment from others without asking in between sets, and with disliking confrontation i just let it happen. You expect a certain level of gym etiquette that is not displayed from the staff themselves which is sad. Front desk staff acts like you’re not even there when checking in as well. Very unwelcoming for a gym that promotes being inclusive. Do better.

Terrible front desk staff.Especially whoever was working Tuesday August 1st, 2023. We checked in from 9pm till 10pm. There was a female and a male (with a name tag labeled “hate”) who made my husband and I feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcomed. After we checked in they continued talking about us and pointing our direction. That in my opinion is completely unprofessional. We enjoy coming here for the facility itself and have better experiences with the weekend day time staff. I usually don’t complain but really felt the need to say something tonight in hopes this can be addressed. And taken care of.

Terrible front desk staff!!! (Especially tonight Tuesday August 1st 2023)Most weekday evening front desk staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. I usually don’t complain but when you feel like the front desk staff is talking about you as you’re walking away. I felt the need to say something. My husband and I were just trying to check in. The female that was working tonight was taking quite a bit longer with another guest. (It looked like she was literally flirting with the person) and let the line pile up. There were people waiting to get their ID’s any about 3-5 guests behind me waiting to get in. Another guy with a name tag labeled “HATE” came up and “tried” to assist us. He literally talked to me like I was dumb and didn’t understand how check in works. I had to provide my phone number since I didn’t have my scan card with me. (Which usually isn’t a problem). As my husband and I walked away the female and “HATE” stared at my husband and I and continued talking about us. Pointing in our direction and made us feel extremely unwelcomed and uncomfortable. This isn’t the way you should treat any member no matter the level of relationship. I’ve been a crunch member for a very long time and the only reason why we come to east colonial is for the facility itself. Weekend staff is far more professional and friendly.I’m hoping this can get addressed and taken care of.

Crowded all the time, you have to wait a lot to get a workout. I want my money back. They didn't accept credit cards, so you couldn't cancel. 🤦🏽‍♀️😖 …

I love the vibe overall. Everyone is really there just doing their own thing but it is pretty packed, especially around the free weights but most things can often require a wait.

Gym is always too crowded, but the worst is I received an email saying I had a pending balance, so I went to pay it as soon as I received the notification. Front desk staff told me I had to pay late fees up to 50+ dollars when my membership is usually 34 a month. I was told that my account had a balance for 10 days, but when I scanned the day before nobody told me anything neither warned me. Looks like they just wait so they hit you with big fees instead of letting you know.

Good place to work out. Don’t like that it gets packed from 3-7pm but that just means that it is a good place to go. It has one Jacobs latter that people barely use , a sauna , tanning equipment and massage equipment. The trainers are ere expensive but they will work with you if you have a condition that limits you.

The gym for itself is ok, but a few things should be brought up and I didn’t see in any of the comments I’ve read. The picture uploaded was a month ago, but since than I came back home about 5 times because of how busy the gym was, the staff always say that a different time of the day is better, but unless you workout at 3am, you will not find the day that this gym will not be crowded. The most upsetting part is the tons os text they send offering money and discounts to bring friends, which showing they are not willing to deal with this problem at all! I‘ve brought my mom and got 0 benefit out of it! She is really upset because she tried going in the morning as it was told her that was going to be more empty, and still packed ( she is also not able to cancel her membership for a service she can’t use and it’s not happy about for the next 3mo)Would be better if they charged a bit more and kept a limit of people to make working out there more pleasant and not so stressful

Worst gym ever, I had to urgently move and they make it so extremely difficult to cancel (you have to physically be in the branch) just so they can steal off a few monthly subscription fees with no refunds. I have to make a two hour drive just to cancel mine.

Rap music so loud that I can hear it through noise canceling earbuds. So crowded most of the time it is hard to find a machine to use. Most of the stair masters have been broken for months. No soap in bathroom. Have to search for a paper towel dispenser that's not empty just to wipe down machines.
