Located near downtown, a few blocks away from E. Colonial Drive. Two story building plus plenty of fitness equipments. Indoor and outdoor pools. Huge locker rooms. Staff are friendly. There are plenty of parking spaces. Can be crowded in the morning and evening during the weekdays.

I love everything offered! Way better than a gym membership. Would love more Barre class days/times because Im busy but every class I take is awesome!

Large facility. The men’s locker room is a stinker. Always smells bad and could use a good deep cleaning. The steam room seems to be broken as often as it isn’t. I wish they’d convert the large room downstairs (where machines and treadmills are) into the weight room as the weight room is kind of small for how many people show up. Good pool, inside and out. Everyone who works here is nice.

I am at the shallow water fitness and it is so much fun to do the exercises and something for my body. The trainers are awesome and have a well prepared program.

The worst experience I've ever had, my children have been in swimming lessons for a month and today everything was horrible, they were unprofessional and there is zero communication. I was never informed that the class hours changed after I got to the pool none of the instructors had the courtesy to inform me of the change, my daughter asked them if they would have classes today and then one of them approached me and I asked what It happened and his answer was that he didn't know why it didn't appear on the list and because they didn't tell me anything to which I answered ok what are we going to do and he told me don't worry they are going to have their class today and this is what he did, he left my children for half an hour sitting, and he walking in front of us with the instructors and all this was made in front of those who were there so I Stand up go to his office he just make lies an excuses honestly it was rude and nasty this situation Their lack of interest and their lack of professionalism would make me said I will never recommend this place.

Just rejoined the downtown YMCA, and I love this location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Men's locker room is sufficient with sauna and steam rooms. And now we can book classes online, so there is no mad rush to grab a spot in popular body pump classes, which is a huge benefit!

This Y was really nice.. Back in 2014-2015. Great kids swimming instructors. Today, i just don't know. Hope it's still Kool.

Most awkward Y I've been too. On the plus side +sauna, +steam. However odd "fishbowl style windows" that leer suggestively into the (overly) brightly lit mens locker room. With regards to the posted "rules", they appear backwards in concept as most YMCA's forbid clothing in the steam/sauna (for obvious hygienic reasons). Thankfully, it appeared few adhered to the posted nonsense.

I want to give a special thanks for Nick Kelly at the front desk! He made me feel incredibly welcomed every time I came in for a workout. All the staff members here were fantastic, but Nick went above and beyond!
