Downtown Orlando YMCA Family Center

I enjoyed these place very family oriented and going places a very bright feature awaits just go and see for ur self i bet ull like it too nice pools gyms and clases very nice

My favorite Y in Orlando.

This is nice gym don't get me wrong but i always come here without hesitation and i walked threw the door they ask me what am i am here for i told them i was with a client. Than i proceed to walk towards the weight another manger came and ask me again i told him the same reason and than he said that there new people here and the probley didn't recognize me. I stayed and watch and they didn't do it to anyone else. I guess i look different thank you for ruining my experience.

I wanted to get a membership through the scholarship program that they had. Based on the income that I had and my age group, they told me that $50.00 dollars was the best that they could do. I told them that I could only afford $35.00. They refused me because they was going off a chart that they had. I did not think they refused anyone because of inability to pay but I guess they do. But the executive certainly does know how to give themselves a nice $100,000 plus salary every year. Interesting.

The facility is nice, the location is great, but they are not a “non-profit” or “community minded”, unless your “community” is made up entirely of the one percent. Those who make less than 100k a year are forced to look elsewhere. Their monthly fees are completely outrageous.

I've been a member of the Downtown YMCA since 2004. This Y is more than a place to workout, it's a place to connect with a community. I have witnessed the fabulous work they do for all the various people that come through this Y. I am proud to be part of this community!

My favorite place to workout!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. My kids can play safely in kid zone while I get my workout in and they have swimming clases too which my kids participate in twice a week.

The best YMCA in central FL, machines are always in good order, lots of great classes, child care center has been helpful as well. The only downside is they recently got rid of the headphones, they weren't great to begin with, but helpful if you forgot your own set.

The members went really nice, the staff was nice, the facility was big but mixed up and dirty in some places. I would recommend goin to the St augestine FL one on pope Rd on the island the whole place is nice and relitivly tidy, the staff and members are nice it's not to crowded and the basket ball court is awesome

I am not from the Orlando area so I visited a bunch of YMCA's and this one is the best! The staff made me feel welcome from the start. They have a smoothie bar and product stand inside! The men's locker rooms have flat panel TVs in them. The variety of equipment and classes is top notch. Tim P is an awesome instructor and motivates you in a positive way. Plan a bit extra time to get here in the evening due to traffic, but it is well worth it.
