I planned to go to Kildeer to see if I liked the facilities because I usually go to Mt. Prospect but my friend wanted to join and she lives in Lake Zurich, so Kildeer was in the middle. When I got there (11 min early) to sign the paperwork, the man at the front basically kicked me out in front of 6 people saying I couldn’t come in until 5 minutes before class. Not sure why it mattered since there were 6 people in a 10 by 10 space anyway...so, when I came back in, he apologized for “kicking me out”; I didn’t even care except for the fact that he embarrassed me in front of people. So, normally when you get there early, you start on treadmill, that is my preference, but they started me on the floor. I asked to be switched by apparently they’re the only OT that doesn’t follow that rule, they “pre-assign” as they said. Okay; I started on the floor, no problem. I had to ask twice for my name to show up on the TV (I only waited 3 min but I wanted to be sure it was on for the class). Both times I asked they asked, “is your monitor turned on?” Ummmmm, really? Don’t you think that’s the first thing I checked? Ha!The other things I didn’t like:- the wipes were barely wet- if you’re on the floor, you can’t see your stats- if you’re on rower or treads you can’t see the stretches so I left before stretching. I was like scared to move thinking I’d be reprimanded like I was in my next point.- they make you go around in an orderly fashioned; I waited for rowers to leave so I can get on from tread but maybe I didn’t wait for the coach to “allow us” to move? Because she said “remember to wait until everyone is away from rowers before moving over...” clearly she was talking to me in front of the whole classDon’t worry, I won’t be back! Of course will advise my friend not to join this location. Thanks for nada and enjoy your Saturday!

Coaches: 5 StarsManagement: 3 StarsLet me start by saying the coaches are AMAZING! I started coming here in March 2021 & was new to Orangetheory. I loved it & decided this was my long-term workout plan. The coaches are so welcoming & encouraging. When I signed up for a membership I asked about the class cancellation policy because my schedule is very busy with full-time work & a full-time masters program. They said “as long as you call we won’t charge you the late cancellation fee.” I have demanding clients at both work & my internship, unfortunately sometimes my schedule changes last minute. I was going between 3-5 times a week & often did the 5am class. On a couple occasions I needed to cancel & it was fine, on another occasion I overslept & they charged me which was totally fine, that was on me! I get that if you miss/skip a class they’ll charge you & I’m fine with that, but sometimes I had critical client demands & they weren’t accommodating. I decided to cancel my membership when I called to late cancel & they said they’re “really cracking down on late cancellations.” I couldn’t get to the 4:30pm class because I had a client who needed to reschedule a call for the same time as the class. It started to feel stressful instead of something enjoyable, so I canceled my membership. The manager called me and she was nice, but wasn’t overly interested in talking. It was that & one of the other front desk staff who just kind of made it a place I didn’t want to be anymore which really sucked because the coaches are the best!I found the situation really frustrating because I’m not a member who just cancels all the time. I really enjoy the workouts. I really wish my schedule was less crazy & it will be come December! You can go to any Orangetheory with a membership. I canceled at this location because I don’t feel they ran things the way they initially told me. I’m going to start a new membership at a different location & while I know it’s somewhat all the same, I just didn’t want to benefit this specific location anymore. I’m not going to leave Orangetheory because of poor management, but I won’t be going back to this location & I don’t recommend it for anyone who might need a little flexibility.

Best 1 hour workout!

Good location, better setup than other OTF locations I've been. Spaced out for COVID-19 but it's pretty full and packed considering other stores.

Love working out at Kildeer OTF. It's a amazing workout with energetic, helpful coaches. The studio is clean, up to date equipment and they play great music. Workouts are difficult but make you feel great when you finish. Highly recommend!
