The speech therapist was great with my godson the 1st time, but he gave her a run for her money the 2nd visit. She still handled it in stride.

My physical therapist here discharged me from Aquatic Therapy before I could reach the goals she'd set. Her reasoning was because I'd worked up to 30 reps of each pool exercise, I'd therefore "mastered the pool program."Never mind that I can't stand long enough to do dishes at home, or that I can't walk for more than a few hundred feet, more than nine months after spine surgery. But, hey, I am welcome to join the gym for $800/year if I want continued access to the warm water therapy pool. 🙄I've had hundreds of hours of PT in my life, and I've never been discharged prior to reaching therapy goals. But then, I've never before had PT at a private gym. It seems the main focus at Lifeworks is on selling gym memberships, which strikes me as short-sighted. Lifeworks received much more than $65/month from my insurance company, yet they rushed to discharge me in favor of my buying a membership.

This gym is awesome! The instructors are amazing! I took an aqua class yesterday with Anna where we played games in the pool! Everyone was laughing and having a great time.....while working out! It was the BEST class I've ever been too! Great job Anna!! I hope we get to do that again!
