Everyone is so friendly. Say hello and goodbye and have such positive energy across the board they are very clean here too. Always walking around, making sure things are organized, helping people with machines or cleaning up. Great place to make your home away from home to workout.

My family and I have been loyal customers 7+ years with 3-4 memberships. Numerous training packages, which during the pandemic were not frozen, were paid for. Overall its been a decent experience there. It's a no-frills gym which was fine - no complaints there. Just had an unexpected and terrible experience with the GM there, Samantha. She would do well to improve her customer service skills, especially as a manager. As a long term member I would have never expected to be treated in such a inconsiderate manner. Unbeknownst to me my membership had expired or was transferred to another family member, hence I was no longer a member. We have been charged for training sessions that were never used (50+) as well as monthly fees despite my not going in the last year - we still paid. Even with our long-standing status, I was not allowed to use the gym that day. If I had treated a client in such fashion, I would have been fired. In fact, this Retro has a history of rude staff members, Undercover Boss, Retro, Fair Lawn. One bad apple shouldn't spoil the bunch but this was not a happy experience.

I have been a member at retro fitness for many years; during which, I have seen numerous staff members go above and beyond for the gym and its members. Truly a class act. Other gyms may have interesting amenities or the latest machines, but a gym worth its real estate, in my experience, is defined through its atmosphere and energy. Retro fitness fairlawn is a great place for the newcomer and as well for the more experienced.

Retro fitness is an excellent gym! Its exercise equipment is in good condition, it is spacious, and it is never overly crowded. The music that is played in the background is fun and perfect to work out to!!! Lastly, it is affordable and close to my home, which means that I can pop in there whenever I desire for a quick workout session!

Great gym would even be better if it was actually cool inside! 70 degrees they keep the gym at in the summer! Your sweating before even working out.

I love going to the Retro Fitness in Fairlawn. The staff is very friendly, the location is always clean, and the machines are always maintained. Ive been going here for almost a whole year now and it has been my favorite gym to go to by far. Theres a wide variety of equipment and plenty of cardio machines available to use for all kinds of exercises.

You have everything one could want in a gym. Diverse group of classes, Equipment is in good good condition..Great Staff, it is very clean, people are nice to one another a friendly community. I love Retro Fitness!

This is a message to the owner, we notice all of the work you put into the gym. It looks great! I have been to more than 10 Retros and this is by far the best one. Keep it up!

Looked great when I walked in for the first time, really nice employees that gave me a tour of the gym and I was really impressed with the entire place. It’s clean and has a lot of equipment so even if there are a lot of people, you don’t have to worry about waiting to use something. Recommend signing up👍 …

It's a good little gym with people who have good gym etiquette. Weights are all there, people re-rack, facility is pretty clean, employees are nice, football is usually on TV. Can get a bit packed when school gets out but it's still usually pretty manageable. My only wish is that there was one more incline bench
