I do enjoy the classes, been to two at this location so far. They are sometimes challenging and music depending on instructor, is fun. I was so lost at this location on how to put my shoes to click or how the locker works, how to hear the instructor (he/she says 2 and I’m like what?? Then half the time I can’t understand because the music overpowers the mic and if they scream..good God) etc. Couldn’t tell who worked there because everyone was wearing workout clothes, so I asked a girl that was taking the class too to help. I appreciate the shower being available only the two shower heads turned on one hot and one cold so I couldn’t get them to sync or just have one on. The top one was all broken or clogged because the water went everywhere except straight. I remember going one time in the past to another location and they had delicious fruit, coffee, cups, granola bars.. this location doesn’t. I’ve gone in the morning and evening class and most they have is a water fountain that you press the button to refill your water bottle. I don’t think I’ll renew my membership unfortunately, but I guess it was an experience to try.

Ridiculous policy if you arrive late. It’s my time, my money and my experience. I’m done taking classes here. To explain, I have awful insomnia and trying my hardest to fix it by sticking to a routine no matter what. It takes huge effort to get going some mornings, but of course I do because of life, work, etc. I was motivated to get my workout in. I arrived 6-7 minutes late and checked in, grabbed my shoes, etc. But there was no one at the front desk so I was hesitant. I lost time trying to figure out what to do. Do I just go in? Do I need to talk to someone? I finally walked into the locker area and the receptionist was on the couch when she smugly said that I couldn’t go in because the class started 10 minutes ago. Well if she had been at the front desk, where I assume she should be, it wouldn’t have been 10 minutes. I sure hope that they have cameras to collaborate what I’m writing here. In the end, I was turned away and yet I’ve been in class and seen people walk in 15++ minutes late, which honestly it doesn’t upset me at all because I UNDERSTAND that there’s work, kids, pets, traffic, unforeseen circumstances, etc. A person arriving late does NOT take away from my workout. How unfocused and lame do you have to be to let a person walking in late affect your workout?! If that’s the case, find more resilience because if that’s the worst thing that happens to you, you’re beyond blessed. But I guess at CycleBar you can indeed be late depending on who you know or if you are a long time subscriber. Very disappointed. It’s spinning, get a grip! We’re all adults here. Life happens. I’m not returning here. I’ll use my credits at a different studio and not buy additional credits going forward. Reconsider your militant approach to life.
