The gym is already expensive as is. They closed for renovations and when I inquired about freezing my account I was told that my last payment already paid for two of the weeks the gym is closed for. Felt scammy. Also, I didn't know they were closing, there was no heads up to freeze my payments. Now I'm being told that after renovations, if I want to go to classes that I'll have to upgrade my account?! I'm already paying $70/month. That's insane that I'll have to pay more. Unfortunately this isn't worth it to me and I will be canceling my membership. Unless they added a pool, this cost is purely not worth it. I'd rather pay for a luxury gym that has everything CF does + a pool or rock wall. This is just a generic gym.

Great gymnasium in a great part of town. Serves a wide variety of clients' physical fitness needs in a clean and friendly environment. State of the art equipment!

I've been a member for a few months now and have no complaints at all. The price is very reasonable when you consider all the equipment and group classes that are included. The facilities are clean and not overly crowded (though that could change post-Covid if that ever happens), and the staff is friendly. The fact that it's right in the neighborhood helps motivate me to go more frequently. Also the smoothie bar is a great addition, especially for a quick protein boost after a late workout when you don't want a whole meal (I'm partial to the Skinny Delight because it's low sugar).

Please Try elsewhere. We were members for 3 months. Equipment is dated and service is pretty terrible. Classes are okay and instructors are nice but management is pretty poor. There aren’t a lot of choices when it comes to gyms in the city so it’s unfortunate. Also, be aware of the pricing and research before signing a contract.

I dont understand the positive reviews. Dark, dank, older equipment, and no steam room. Other locations such as market east and logan are much nicer. Very disappointing

Bad customer service. Constant turnover and no clear communication on member policies. If you are going to work out during any regular time good luck getting any equipment or space. The place gets ridiculously over crowded. Promoted as a luxury gym environment but definitely is not.

What a terrible experience going to this place was. Not only was the staff unwelcoming but they denied me a free day pass because I don’t live here permanently and I was going to pay the daily rate.Very protective of your free day pass at the least busiest time of day 🤣🤣🤣 Hope denying me the free day pass was worth a one star review, loss of my $, and me telling everyone to avoid this place luke!

The less than average customer service continues. However today upon arrival an improvement: instead of grunting the person at the front desk said “what’s up bud” without looking at me.

I feel welcomed and supported at City Fitness Graduate Hospital. It is clean and easy to keep a safe distance while working out. I am happy that it is part of my life

The gym is first rate and by far the best Philly has to offer. Don’t be taken by bad ratings because they must have a bone to pick. The place and people are awesome. I offered to continue paying while they closed for COVID to help the employees. They took the fee for only a short while and stopped charging me.You’d feel comfortable there whether 18 or 80, overweight, slim or experienced lifters.
