Absurdly overpriced for a very basic selection of equipment. There have not been any updates in years and can’t see any signs of this changing.Thrive sales pitch is borderline harassment. Also WiFi works maybe 50% of the time.Stop buying Super Bowl commercials, and invest in your equipment.Update. No WiFi in 2019 so farUpdate: WiFi came on for one day on January 26th.Jan 28th it is off again. Stay tuned

For years I loved this place- but as it transitioned from a small business to massive Globo Gym, management has lost concern for members and employees, and it comes through in the experience. Structurally, they focus on superficial appearances while leaving needed repairs unaddressed. If you have the choice, head elsewhere.

Update: one star is the best this place can get. Yes the equipment is top of the line, but their membership services are horrendous. The reason they don't put membership prices on the website allows them to change it any anytime they want and keep the public guessing what's the going rate.Great place to workout, always clean and up to date equipment, BUT their service staff is horrible. Asked to freeze my account due to school and was never told I had to fill out a account freezing form and was told “I should have know about this form.” Good business practice would be to remind the person of this just in case they forget.

This place works really well for my needs. It has great equipment, various space to do weights and cardio, and it’s clean. I was nervous about joining because many reviews center on how hard it is to cancel. Maybe I’ll update this review when that time comes. But generally I’ve had a really pleasant experience here. Please note: I don’t do any of the classes, cardio machines, etc., and I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to come off peak and never at the usual busy gym times.

Convenient hours. Friendly staff. Equipment is current. My issue is that it is too difficult to get credentials for the app that is used to register for classes. Classes fill up very quickly but many of them are worth the struggle to get in.

As a previous review stated, would highly recommend never signing up in the first place. It's expensive per month and charge a yearly fee as well. And once you sign up it's impossible to get out of your contract. They continuously argue with you and keep your money. Its a million dollar gross revenue company however they nickel and dime their customers at every turn. They had a walnut street location that "closed" overnight with no warning and forced patrons to go to another location with no refund. Management doesn't worry themselves with you, they are just worried about the bottom line.

Canceling a membership is extraordinarily frustrating. It appears that they make it purposefully difficult to keep being able to take your money, despite not going. I recently started traveling for work, and they required you to be there in person, or to send a certified letter in, basically all they do is argue with you about canceling your membership.Would highly recommend never signing up in the first place.

I've been going to the gym since it opened. Staff are always friendly and it is very clean for a gym. The personal training staff are the best. The group classes are super as well. I've tried the other and will stay with City Fitness.

I like to go here whenever I need to get my pump on after eating alley almonds. The staff are great although the guy at the door is a little too diligent about checking my ID. Also these two guys keep bothering me on the treadmill asking me questions about gay marriage.

I been going to this gym about 4 maybe 5 months now. I LOVE IT. Never been into fitness or excerising on my own so the classes are excellent for me and the instructors are great! I love it! The sign up fee was a little high, but you get what you pay for and this gym is worth every penny and close to home!
