Very happy and satisfied with the gym. Excellent amenities, the equipment is top notch and in perfect condition and it’s always clean. The employees are friendly and very helpful and the childcare center does an amazing job caring for my son.Shoutout to my personal trainer Clayton! He’s amazing and has been super helpful. Amazing gym!

This gym is great! The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a wide selection of machines, and everything is kept clean. It is easy to reserve classes on the app as well.

Really happy with this gym. I have been going for a while now and haven't had any problems. It's pretty busy on weekends and after work hours on weekdays but I often go week day mornings. I love all the classes they offer as well. It seems like a pretty good deal to have activities like yoga and cycle class included in the membership price. People seem pretty considerate about cleaning off their machines after use too. I've seen that there is a body weight index scale for use, but havent used it yet. There is a sign that says you need an appointment and I havent gotten around to asking how to make one. But it is still pretty cool that they have one available. There is a smoothie station up front where you check in. They have a bunch of flavors, protein options, milk options, and other drinks available for purchase. They have a pretty good assortment of protein bars and snacks too.

Very clean, well-kept machines, lots of different classes offered. I've been going here for several months, and I really appreciate this gym. Nothing is complicated. Check in, work out, and go home. My 9-year-old has gone to the kids' area numerous times and enjoys herself while I run on the treadmill.

Between the child care and the gym it’s self I would not go anywhere else other than here. The staff all know my daughter and she has a great experience every time she is here. The gym is always clean and in tip top shape.

Do not sign up for training services here! My wife attended this gym and received training services, which she enjoyed, for many months. She, unfortunately faced some unrelated health issues that was going to prevent her from continuing. The fitness manager, Stephen, convinced my wife to sign up for a new agreement with a start date 3 months later by offering a reduced monthly payment plan, in hopes she would be over her health issues.One month prior to the start date of that agreement, my wife submitted the cancel request form to the gym, which they lost...fortunately, we had a copy. We were still charged for the first month of the agreement (they originally tried to say they never 'approved' the cancellation request, therefore service was never cancelled). When I requested a refund, they told me, per the agreement, we were responsible for 25% of the remaining value of the agreement.I reluctantly agreed since it was stated clearly in the contract. The total value of this agreement was $720; 25% of that would have been $180, I was charged $240 for the monthly dues. I expected a $60 refund. When I asked for it, they changed their story and said the first month was charged and the 25% fee would be for the remaining two months of service, an additional $120 on top of the $240 BUT they would consider the $240 as the buyout payment.Keep in mind my wife received 0 services on this agreement. After spending way too much time and energy on this, never getting a call back when I was told and continually having to follow up and leave messages, I decided this wasn't worth $60 and told them to keep it and we wouldn't be back. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience! Mountainside, please don't try to respond now to make it better and ask for 5-stars. It's too late!

I’ve been going to mountainside happy valley location for 5 years now and by far my favorite location. The staff is friendly and the child care is great! My 4 year old has options when he plays. Zumba classes are so fun!

This gym is amazing. It is always super clean and the staff are always very friendly. The membership fees are very competitive compared to other fancy gyms. I’ve been a member since 2008 and am very satisfied

Moms with kids - this is the place to be. Their daycare is the best gym daycare we’ve ever seen. My kids (newborn, 3 & 5) literally beg to go to the gym and won’t let me skip a day. The girls that watch the kids are so loving and caring, my favorites are Lauren, Miranda and Courtney. I always see them cleaning and sanitizing the toys and my kids rarely get sick. They display live videos from the child care from anywhere in the gym so you can check on your kids while you workout. They take newborn baby’s as soon as you’re comfortable with it (other gyms made me wait 6 months). The facility is incredible, fair size bounce house, kids basketball court, game room and theater room. Best part about this gym is a few times a year they’ll have a kids party where you can drop your kids off for 4 hours while they do pizza and movie and you’re able to go enjoy time outside of the gym for a date night!!As far as the gym itself.. feels like a straight up spa. Weights are always organized and in their place and everything is clean. The culture is not full of “meat heads” - everyone is pretty modest and friendly. Only complaint is no full body mirror in the woman’s locker room but apparently they are ordering one. They have a smoothy cafe and nice area to sit and enjoy yourself if you need a moment. One of the best parts is the new massage chairs they got in… they literally massage every part of your body including your hands!! Free with membership. Thanks Happy Valley Mountainside!!
