Very rude customer service I received from a young lady this afternoon. I wanted to join this gym with my wife and wanted to try out the gym for 1 day. My wife signed up and was supposed to receive a pass and it never went through like it said it would. She said clearly you didn't do it right. She was wrong and she was not able to get it to work either. No apologies, notha! I know how to use a computer and I can read. The only thing that is clear is her presence in this business. Disgusting behavior.

A lot of the machines are breaking and not being fixed- many are repeat offenders. The gym wipe buckets are frequently empty. This is very concerning as we are entering flu season... Within the year or so I've been a member the quality of this gym has declined greatly. Hoping you guys can get your act together. I expect you to reply with how, 'you'll reach out to your maintenance team', but from reading previous posts broken equipment seems to be a running gag at this location. Just like in fitness we don't get better by saying we are going to do something. We need the action behind our words to get the job done, and done right the first time. Get it together guys, you're really letting us down.

Subject: Unprofessional Behavior and Unpleasant Experience with Manager Melinda at Vasa FitnessI am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the unprofessional behavior exhibited by Manager Melinda at Vasa Fitness. My interactions with her have left me incredibly dissatisfied and uncomfortable.A few months ago, I wrote a positive and friendly Google review about Melinda and Studio Red out of goodwill. However, since then, my experiences have been nothing short of unpleasant. I was asked to modify my review to present Melinda in a more favorable light, and then I had to pay my membership fee in cash. This situation seemed odd, as Melinda had previously mentioned that the gym didn't accept cash, and her assistance was unhelpful. Furthermore, during recent visits, Melinda appeared to ignore me as if she didn't recognize me, despite our prior interactions.On August 26, 2023, I was participating in a Studio Red class. When I needed to move to the stair climber area due to my inability to use a bike, Melinda stood in the doorway, obstructing my path. Politely requesting her to move, I said "excuse me" twice, but she refused to budge. Instead, she yelled at me across the gym, stating that I couldn't "speak that way in MY gym." This assertion was not only baffling but also deeply concerning, as I am a paying customer and have every right to express myself.After the station rotation, Melinda approached me again, reiterating that I couldn't use the phrase "excuse me" in her gym. It's important to note that I felt uncomfortable with her monitoring my speech and found her behavior both unprofessional and disrespectful. She attempted to gaslight me, denying the events that had transpired earlier, despite the presence of multiple witnesses who observed the situation unfold.Throughout this incident, Melinda failed to respect my personal boundaries. She ignored my requests to leave me alone and created an uncomfortable environment that led me to cut my workout short. Additionally, she failed to provide appropriate space when I tried to exit the studio room.I was disheartened to overhear Melinda discussing me with someone on the phone as I was leaving, further solidifying my belief that my experience was not an isolated incident. Upon discussing this situation with another manager, it became evident that Melinda has an ongoing history of conflicts with customers and colleagues alike.In response to these experiences, I have made the decision to change my workout time from 4:30 PM to 5 am during the week to ensure that I can avoid encountering Melinda. This drastic change reflects the impact of her behavior on my overall gym experience.I believe an internal investigation is necessary to address Melinda's behavior and its impact on customer satisfaction. Vasa Fitness is a place where everyone should feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of their background. I urge the management team to take my feedback seriously and to take appropriate measures to rectify this situation.In conclusion, my recent experiences with Manager Melinda have been disheartening and disappointing. I like both locations on northern and this one but I joined this gym because you guys had a heavy punching bag and it being out of order, is a real let down for me. I love doing cardio on heavy bags. Maybe if you get more bags I could give ya a 5 star review.

They charged me for the annual on top of the monthly and then canceled my membership all without notice or any explanation. Total rip off I want all my money back!
