VASA Fitness

First off, a very judgement free place to work out. Everyone is there, pretty much to just do their thing and go. Here's how I see VASA.Pros: Open schedule for workouts. While not 24 hour, it's close enough to fit my completely random schedule.Never really full, always a place to work out, there's always room.Pretty much anything you need, is there. Workout equipment, coaches, classes, pool, spa, jacuzzi, etc....One on One personal training is relatively inexpensive (compared to other trainers out there.)Cons: You need to sign up, just to tour (at least, that's what the sales rep told me)They're very high pressure sales, to the point that they skip past sections in the agreement without letting you read it first. WHen asked what was skipped, you are told just the waiver that allows you to tour the place. (Seriously bad marks there, gang. There's high pressure sales and then there's legal liabilities.)They aren't open 24 hours.Canceling personal training is not allowed, per my coach. They'll postpone training and payments, but will not allow you to cancel. That ties you in to 6 months, at least, worth of payments.VASA fitness app is also a point of sales pressure. Giving a checklist when you sign up and, while it's up to you to complete it. What the first things it lists off are classes (leading to a higher membership bracket) and a 1 on 1 consult with a personal trainer (face to face sales.)There's good and there's bad here, but you get out of it what you're willing to put in. I recommend this center, but watch out for the sales pitch. Caveat emptor: Let the buyer beware.

always busy, pool extremely dirty, so much hassle to cancel with many hidden fees. Gyms like this make you think its cheap just to scam you.

Nice gym, a bit cramped machines are very close. Dress code not enforced bare feet. Open shoes, bras ext all over its gross. Good hours, friendly staff so far

I love everything about this gym! Some of the amenities that you get with a VERY reasonable price include use of pool, whirlpool, dry or steam sauna, upright tanning, ALL machines, cardio cinema, group fitness classes, and hydromassage beds!!! Upgrade for very little to have unlimited Studio Red classes! I also utilize a coach that I pay for, who is extremely knowledgeable about health and fitness. Everyone is friendly and the vibe is soooooo good here! If you are looking for a clean, modern gym with great amenities and a reasonable price, check them out! I was not compensated whatsoever for my review.

I initially rated the gym a five, but am revising it to a 2. The gym itself is nice and fine, but the real issue is that this gym is always packed. It doesn't matter what time, it's always packed. If your someone who actually works out properly, I can't recommend this gym. I struggle to get a proper workout due to how busy it is. And I to at 10 in the morning, it's packed.

These machines have been broken for weeks. I love VASA! But I feel like they’re going down hill, before broken machines would be fixed ASAP. please don’t let it turn into LA fitness 😫 …

The facility is well kept and clean. You don't see that often in budget gyms. It's the best all around value!

I really like Vasa i try to go every day to work out. I like the way it has a basketball court inside that's my favorite sport, that's what really surprised me. Also the swimming pool but i don't really mind it but may be one day.

Front desk staff have serious attitude problems.I went to scan myself in (like you're supposed to) and some power tripping teenage girl tried to snatch my phone out of my hand because only she can scan it in. Whatever - normally I don't think much of these miscommunications but she started acting like she's going to throw me out of the gym because of...what? I do not know.I don't know if it is VASA policy to try and steal people's phones when their 'authority' is questioned, but just beware of the attitude these girls have.In addition to that, the people I usually workout with were mentioning that the same girl was being rude and disrespectful to them as well. I don't know what she said to my training partners verbatim, but I do know that they had a very poor (and unwarranted) experience with this problematic employee.Normally the front desk doesn't cause any issues but I was so turned off by this one experience that I will certainly not be renewing my membership.It's sad because normally the guys at the front desk are super chill and friendly but this one short tempered girl made me feel completely unwelcome.STAY AWAY!Edit: changing my review to 4 stars because I quite like this gym and don’t think it should be hurt with a 1 star review over an incident that took place a while ago.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to enroll with VASA! From the moment that I stepped into the facility I felt welcomed and informed about their excellent services and programs! As I turned 70 last year I knew that I needed to maintain better conditioning and found all that I could ever need!
