I went swimming this evening. Downtown has a real nice lap pool. I swam about 25 minutes, kicked back in the jacuzzi, and called it good.

Quality is fine. Customer service...-well be a judge. I'm working in transportation services.(limo) I have a lot of customers, not from Portland. Some of them love to have a nice work out after long day at work. If they in downtown, I bring them to 24h fitness. Today, I brought one of my VIP's, and while waiting, I got inside and ask for restroom. The guy at the front desk Uche, sad "only for the members". I explained, why I'm here, he sad "there is Safeway around the corner. Well.. Uche.. There are a lot more very nice fitnesses around the corner as well, wich my clients won't be mind to use. Buy Uche. Nice strategy to keep your clients coming.

pros: high ceilings, fair downtown location, clean showerscons: parking(don't even bother between 4-8pm), one plate leg press machine, deadlift weights are locked up for real deadlifters (??), awful, awful awful radio station that has NEVER been changed since I started going there a couple years ago so have heard Social Distortion far more times than what my comfort zone allows, cardio bunnies galore, lots of dudes trying to get noticed, lots of eye boning from the older man to man love crowd,The place is set up to be a reality tv show for a lot of these people. Sit on a machine, yak it up, socialize, watch the tube, get a protein shake, go home and do who knows what? Too many pretty boys and narcissistic yoga ladies. Feels like I'm in Seattle or LA. I miss Portland.

Pretty nice gym, especially in the off hours. Usually their is 5's running mid day for the hoopers and their is plenty of equipment to use considering its small size. Staff is friendly aswell.DO NOT go between 4-8 Mon-Thurs unless you like mosh pits, The after work rush here is insane. Only reason I switched to LA Fitness down the road, but a big one for me.

Nothing really wrong with this location. Its not the best, not the worst. Equipment seems to be mostly working, I always seem someone on the floor fixing things. The desk is friendly. there is just not enough floor space in my opinion.. but that's how I feel about most gyms. Same goes with the eye candy ( Lets be real, it's half the fun of the gym) is just alright.

Pretty standard 24 hour fitness with a good selection of classes. The gym does seem to always be crowded though, but people are pretty friendly. It's also cleaner than the 24 hour downtown..

great gym. but the parking is terrible so you should ride your bike there. which isnt such a bad thing considering your trying to work out right? other than that the service is good and its a gym. you work out. pretty standard stuff.

Awful. The equipment is decent and a few people who worked there were polite and friendly but overall I had a horrible experience there. I saw a trainer and he was very late for our first appointment then proceeded to be late for a second one, (I know I should have dropped him then but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and the actual training was decent) He then slept through another appointment for which he promised a free session for, I was very annoyed at this and should have dropped the trianing then, but nope...I showed up for a regularly scheduling appointment that we had agreed on and I had calendared. He was with another client. I was so embarassed I walked out of the club. And relaly overall I was not comfortable there, many of the trainers and staff were rude and the overall atmosphere of the club is not very hospitable. And at one point I had asked front desk staff what type of yoga classes were offered and they had no idea. There are many different types of yoga, they did not even know if it was gentle or not.I cancelled my membership and requested a refund for my personal training, which I had to call back about a number of time as people kept giving me incorrect information and telling me I would have my money soon, when in fact it had not been put through. This has lasted almost a month. If I had the choice between being fat for the rest of my life or going to 24 hour fitness ever again I would choose fatness. Fortunately there are a number of small gyms out there, one of which I will join when I finally get my $$ refunded.

Great gym with friendly staff, good machines and tasty smoothies. It can get crowded, which is annoying but not really their fault :)

I've never had a problem here. The free weights don't have any longer wait than one would expect at a gym. The equipment is nicely organized and people put their equipment away.
