Great workout environment. Best place to play open gym basketball and you can get a great workout without being bothered or ppl taking up all the weights. They have plenty of space for everyone.

Been a member here for over a year, it’s close to where I live and open early, that’s why I’m staying for now. On a near weekly basis I’m telling the staff that a bunch of the treadmills are broken. This morning the first four I tried didn’t work in some way. Fix your equipment, we pay for it. Please restock paper towels and spray bottles. Bring back the jump ropes. I have a discount through work at LA fitness, a little further away but will soon be worth it.

Average 24-hour fitness with a smoothie bar. Outside of the 1st world issues like parking, it has everything I need for training. Some of the cardio stuff is upstairs...where heat tends to hang out with its high ceiling especially during the summer. Demographically speaking, this place attracts younger professionals. There's not a lot of teenagers who go here compared to more suburban 24hrFitness like in the Beaverton and Mall 205 locations. The other "downtown" 24HF on SW 4th is essentially in a basement that has a more older tame crowd who tend to be in the legal, government and financial fields. This place makes me think more of folks in the restaurant and/or service industries, sales or web site developer-types and administrative fields. Also, there's a lot of gays. Not that this is important to the average person, but if you're uncomfortable with that, you've got choices. But it may be important for someone who is gay to feel safe in that kind of environment. I'd say this place attracts a greater amount of body-builder types than perhaps other 24 hour fitness. Maybe it's the same distribution and this place is just smaller? I don't know. I realize the "athletic club" consumer is probably going to roll their eyes at the meatheads who tend to frequent here, you know, pre-set motivational grunts and the grunting/hissing/whistling during the reps, the slamming of the weight plates and the copious amount of chalk...on everything. I certainly roll my eyes at some of the conversations by dudes who say things like "women like big shoulders, it's why you gotta get those guys really big!" Yeah. Likewise, it's equally annoying to retrieve those 45 pound weight plates all leaned up and stacked next to the legs of one bench from the crew who were there previously. But I get it. To me that's better than the pedestrian member who never racks their weights and doesn't understand gym etiquette by taking your bench when you get up to drink water even though your towel is still laying on the bench, the guy who takes the weights off the rack on the bench you were working on without asking if you'd be using it, because taking 2 more steps to another rack no one is working on is too far; the same guys who are busy gawking at the women in between looking at themselves in the mirror and messing with their iPhones. Some of these guys are all geared out, but got nothing to show for. I digress. I like the industrial look of this place. It makes it feel like it isn't a spa, you're here to sweat. It reminds me of old school gyms except with more up-to-date (albeit not always maintained) equipment or gyms at deployment sites, but with way better equipment and AC. A plus to this place is the smoothie bar. I honestly don't know of any other 24 hour fitness sport in the are that offers that. I don't use it, but there are times where I forgot my post workout stuff and wish the gym I was at had a smoothie bar to get my protein drink on. Based on all that I give it a 3-star, because it's not a place I go out of my to go nor\ is it even exceptional, but it does offer all the things I need for my workouts....and restaurants nearby afterwards.

Love this location. I've always enjoyed coming here. I love that 24hr fitness is 24hrs. They're other location has a Jacuzzi and spa and sauna. Those are always a huge plus. This location is convenient, and located in the Pearl, far away from so many bums and vagrants. I like that it's a sanctuary in the city. 😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ …

Been coming here a year now and its nice. I dont drive downtown so no need to worry about parking, and I paid for the year plan so my payments are low, and there is enough equipment to get started. the pool and hot tub are ESPECIALLY nice and the hot/sweat room is always a treat. I havent had any weird guy or gal issues there, everyone seems chill. The staff is friendly and the clean up crew working late is always friendly to me. Im glad I started and will continue my training for wing chun and other personal goals. I love that they are open 24 hours a day and I have not tried their drinks but I do get the BCAA and shake powder there, my only gripe would be not the greatest selection of varied powders that builders need. I still need to go to gnc to get isolate mass gainer. :/ and now the gnc is closed. no big deal, just an idea to help improve the overall experience at 24 hour.

Initial sign-up was painless and not pushy especially compared to other gyms in area. Was gratified to receive a work-related discount for yearlong membership. Facilities well-kept and clean. Crowd that comes to this gym mostly young professional. When time came to end membership there was confusion with completing the cancellation but after a phone call and discussion with manager and assistant manager they were very helpful in quickly clearing up and refunding a mis-charge.

I've been a member for a month and I've been loving it! I hardly ever use the gym equipment, but the work out classes are amazing. There are so many different options, and the instructors are always friendly and keep you motivated. Staff is also very friendly, I'm very pleased to be a member of 24hr fitness.PS: what someone wrote below about the entrance to the pool is untrue. There are locker rooms inside the pool area, I would never cross the sweaty men to go for a swim/ sauna.

This 24 Fitness location does not have a swimsuit dryer and is thus far inferrior to other nearby 24 Hour Fitness locations.

Horrible business practices. Tried to cancel a membership by calling in a few months before expiration to say I no longer wanted to be a member once my year commitment ran out. Was told it was taken care of. Come to find out, they are taking money out of my bank account each month, despite me calling and saying I no longer wanted to be a member. They are ripping off a single mom with a life-threatening illness. Hopefully every cent they've stolen from me helps them feel good about their shady practices. I will be telling everyone I know.

I enjoyed this location very much until today when I along with about 12 other paying members were asked to vacate the squat and deadlift area during 5:30 - 6:30 pm, prime workout hours. When I asked if I could deadlift on the platform and give up the squat rack, I was told “no, unfortunately I have people learning to deadlift with a kettlebell”. To translate, my 400 pound deadlift had to take a back seat to a 25 pound kettlebell. I am all for people learning to lift properly and try to take it in stride when the trainers take up a ton of room on the rack but to shut down the entire area during prime hours is completely unfair to every other paying member of the location.
