It is such a joy to go back in person to this wonderful studio. Everyone here is friendly and inviting. I've practiced yoga off and on for many, many years and it is such a pleasure to take classes with teachers that truly know their craft. I've even steped out of my comfort zone and incorporated barre classes into my life. A new found joy and all to be found in one place.

I returned to my mat at PYP after healing from a bad leg injury. I have been welcomed by the diverse and talented teachers, all of whom add their personality and warmth to each class. I have also enjoyed a variety of workshop they offer frequently.PYP is my go-to yoga community.

I will continue to come back to this space and practice year after year. The teachers and community are exceptional and have so much intention behind everything they create and foster. Portland Yoga Project caters to all levels and practices, I always feel supported showing up as I am!

I have been a member of PYP since it opened, and I cannot say enough about it. Both barre and yoga have tremendously increased my strength and flexibility, and the staff are expert - they helped me get back to exercising after breast cancer and also helped me revise workouts when recovering from a broken leg. Amazing staff and community.

I was looking for a new place to get into yoga again after several years of not doing yoga. I found TPYP and signed up for their 30 days for $30. I found that this place is WAY more than yoga...it offers killer classes in Barre and Matte. So now I am working out almost everyday doing Yoga, Barre or Matte. The classes are awesome, the staff are wonderful and the space is super inviting. 100% HAPPY with TPYP!

Bright and welcoming space with an obvious dedication to not just providing “yoga workouts”. The classes I’ve been to have been mindful of the body and mind connection which is crucial to me. I can joyfully say that this is one of the most diverse studios I’ve attended (body, age, gender, race) and the class offerings make it clear that they are trying to welcome and attract people from all backgrounds (grief yoga, BIPOC yoga, queer yoga, birth workshops). Excited to continue exploring what this studio has to offer!

After serious illness, major surgery, the Pandemic and becoming a (sedentary) graduate student, I lost decades of fitness training over the last five years. PYP is helping me gain it back in a friendly, encouraging, and safe environment that is easy to access, clean, and calm. Jess and all the other PYP teachers know what they are doing and work hard to create a challenging, varied, yet non-intimidating and inclusive class environment. Wherever you are in your wellness journey, there’s a place for you at PYP.

Since Portland Yoga Project has opened I have supported this community for a few reasons. The Community - All ages, all levels of fitness, all different types of people are welcome here. It truly is a warm vibe once you are greeted through the door. The instructors are not only fun, but educated and passionate about what they do. The energy is contagious. the space is clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Even though I am not one to stay in one place for long, There is no where else I practice Barre, & Yoga than The Portland Yoga Project. Thanks for being my "Happy Place".
