I belonged to this gym prior to Covid, once covid shut this gym down, I canceled my membership. Now, almost 3 years later I was charged a $100 “collections” charge. Yes, 3 years later after having CANCELED. My membership. When I canceled my membership I was anything but disappointed because this gym is disgusting… the amount of filth and hair in every corner of the building is absolutely unacceptable. The bathrooms and showers seemed like they were never cleaned. At one point I remember a wall light hanging off in the bathroom… And a few people who came in regularly who seemed to be homeless and not in their right mind. With all that being said, once I finally was able to get someone to take my call after leaving a message with front desk gentleman a week prior. The manager hung up on me after I explained to him that I had canceled my membership and I will be contacting the BBB.Just do not go here.Unless you want a fungal infection or if you want to be randomly charged money 3 years later.By all means, enjoy.

I walked in to get a membership well homeless, I was carrying all of my stuff with me and I obviously have not showered in a couple of weeks. Initially there was no problem, however after signing up I was informed that I was scaring people and that by being so apparently homeless it was causing all of his guests to worry about their safety. I requested a refund and he refused even though I would not be back to use the gym due to his discrimination, even reassuring me that I had not said or done anything to frighten anyone after I implored as to which behavior could’ve possibly frightened anyone. The way he spoke implied he was either a manager a junior owner or an owner. As a homeless person who was just trying to keep clean, this person disregarded our contract humiliated me in front of guests and kept money from me that he should’ve rightfully returned I would give him zero stars and an investigation by the BBB if I could.By the way dude homeless people are significantly veterans, if my battle buddies knew what you were doing they probably come down there and tear your place apart.I lost my job that week. Unable to be clean before going in.

DONT SLEEP ON THIS GYM!!!!!THE FACILITY -Incredible gym with amazing, professional, empathetic staff. They offer an indoor and awesome outdoor gym with every fitness class you can think of.The facility is kept clean and organized. They have pretty much any machine you will need, whether you do cross fit, powerlifting, cardio, dance, etc. They have fitness drinks which is convenient, they also sell some fitness gear.THE CULTURE -EVERY single person I've met, either the people who work there, or work out there, are the nicest I've met in any gym. Great gym culture.I've been seeing Andrea for personal training. I've had a good handful of trainers, and never have I met one so empathetic, smart, and ready to help you meet your goals regardless of your fitness level. She knows when to push you and when your body might need a rest. The gym manager Janna is an angel on earth and one of the kindest people I've ever met.David knows customer service. He will always greet you with a smile, and always willing to help out.Everyone at the front desk is kind and customer service oriented. I wish I could remember everyone's name.I haven't had many interactions with the owner, but you will see him at the desk or bopping around the gym. Super nice guy, and willing to help. From a customer perspective, its great seeing the owner care so much, and willing to interact with the customers.

Recently Relocated to NE Portland. I Have been a member of StAfford Hills Club in Tualatin for the last 12 years and absolutely loved it , but is not realistic to be 30/60 minutes away depending on Traffic.Reluctantly I looked at local gyms in NE and finally found a fit . West Coast Fitness has everything I need . It also has a “ Gritty” outdoor gym that is awesome. Inside is super super clean , Including the locker Rooms . Has very nice Sauna and Steam Room . The staff is very friendly, David helped me and it was seamless .I’m very excited to go to this club regularly. I think it’s a Great Value . It’s not Planet Fitness, or LA or 24 hour Inexpensive but it’s definitely worth what they charge .

Sneaky, predatory cancellation process. Watch out, they'll take more money from you than you are willing to pay.

Local gyms don’t get better than WCF.Friendly, clean and with some great new machines. There’s improvements every time we visit from New Mexico. It just gets better each time. You can tell the owner family takes pride in making improvements and taking care of their gym and patrons.Overall, it doesn’t have that big corporate gym feel which is great. Everyone goes here- moms, bodybuilders, Crossfit folks, folks new to the gym, yogis, everyone! It’s a diverse and friendly crowd-No ego here!I wish we lived in Portland- this would be our daily gym!

WCF was pretty 🔥🔥🔥, a bunch of weights and space, granted i did go early morning so it wasnt that many people, but the outside gym and $15 day pass sold me. This will definitely be my go to gym when I'm in Portland. …

Great gym! The place is always clean, tons of equipment and free weights with spares for when there's a crowd. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Janna will help you understand where you are at mobility and fitness wise, and set you up with a trainer if you'd like. I worked with Matt for a few sessions and he designed a program that fits my needs and schedule. Fantastic experience would highly recommend for anyone looking to better themselves in the St Johns area!
