Lots of equipments is a good point. But it tends to smell, they advertise the $10 monthly fee just to charge you 30 dollars or more annual fee later on. It was very difficult to cancel my membership. I had moved to a different city and they made me go all the way from the north shore to the south shore and the cancellation took 3 damn minutes. They say they couldn't do it over the phone, but funny enough, you can transfer your membership over the phone AND online, but not cancel.

A good enough gym for those with a busy schedule. No really AMAZING features that you may find at a health club or YMCA, but it gets the job done. A great place to people watch, as so many interesting characters come in and out. The bathrooms are kept clean which is something much appreciated. The weight lifting area is large and great for anyone who is looking to begin their fitness journey. As a student, I needed a gym close to my school that I could easily get to during my free periods, and this was a perfect option for me.

Pretty good gym. Pretty good value. The only qualm I have is that there are often places in the floor that are uneven, either as a result of the building being old or the rubber mats on the floor bubbling. This can be an issue in places like the squat racks.Otherwise, there are no complaints. The newly renovated men's locker/bathrooms are a great improvement!

Basic exercise machines at affordable membership. If you only want to run on elliptical machine or Cybex trainer then ideal. I would prefer rowing machines instead of tanning booths. They should get rid of the tanning booths, Tootsie rolls, pizza, and bagels.

It has everything you need to do your basic cardio and weightlifting. The gym is pretty small so it can get very packed after work. The only downside is they need better air circulation because it can get very smelly when it get packed.

Judgement free zone, ample equipments, and shower after workout. I am a happy black card user. Cleanliness, and enough locker. You will get personal trainer for free upon appointment. I wish planet fitness has swimming pool too.The strange thing is they don't have the weighing machine.

This gym used to be barely adequate, but just a couple weeks ago they decided to remove all the barbell benches for chest exercises and replace them with ab machines that I have yet to see anyone use. It's so stupid. There were always people waiting to use the barbell bench press because there was only 3 for an overcrowded gym to begin with. Now the Smith machines that people used for their legs are all taken by people that are using them as an alternative for their chest workout. The floors are also VERY unlevel. If you set a dumbell down it goes rolling across the gym. It's not good to be that unlevel when lifting heavy weights. The floors are always filthy. I can't tell you how many times I have to stop a set and wipe my eyes because dirt fell into them after picking the dumbells up from the filthy floor. If it weren't for the fact that this gym sucks the least in the area, I would cancel my membership.

I have been a member for month now and it have been ok. Gym lacks most of machines for leg workout like hack squats, standing hamstring curls, lying leg curls, standing half raises and seated calf raises. Its a surprise to me that these machines are not available in the gym, which I feel are an absolute must. Some of these machines are there in my apartment gym where I live so I alternate between the two for leg workout. If you are looking for a good leg workout give it a skip. There is also no preacher bench, incline shoulder press and decline shoulder press, just has the regular military press. For abs, there are 2 abdominal benches that are fixed incline so whats the point? I like to vary the incline to get a good workout. Overall the equipment in the gym is poor, plenty of cardio machines but far from a good gym.

Couldn't be happier with this "judgement free zone" location. Happy black card member for approx. 6 months. Best deal around, clean facilities, friendly staff. Love being able to bring guests for free and take advantage of other black card perks (massage chairs, tanning etc) convenient hours. Much better than anytime fitness!

I'm a member of the gym and think its great. Plenty of cardio machines (treadmills, etc...) and I like the receivers that they have that allow you to plug headphones in and tune to any of the visible tv channels as well as music. The staff was friendly and useful anytime I've interacted with them. Plus I like the way the weight machines organized to do support full body circuit training..
