Like any other gym when I first began attending I was nervous. But quickly I noticed that Retro was not like any other Gym. The staff was always friendly and would help when ever they would see me confused about a certain machine or if my form needed a little adjustment. Today after nearly two years It feels like family. The staff always greet you by name and the trainers have become more than just trainers, they have become friends who want to see you succeed in your journey. With the wide variety of classes and training groups I promise, you will never get bored! Making the switch to Retro was probably one of the best decisions I have made!

Honestly the best gym that I’ve ever been a member to. The staff is amazing and are always giving the best customer service! The best part is that it is in a very convenient area. Every time i come it they always greet me and every time i leave they say have a nice day which is very thoughtful! I never felt like i was more at home at a gym than this one. If you don’t go to a gym and want to join one go to retro! If you have a membership somewhere else try retro to see how it is you won’t be disappointed!!

Retro fitness is the best gym across United States, the employees are fun to get along with,and they are very helpful ,and the smoothies are very delicious,Sorry golds gym but ya time has ran out

Be careful when signing up for any contracts. My yearly membership was up and i called 20 days in advance to let them know I wouldn't be renewing and they charged me for another month in January I won't be using. Also I specifically asked if I could be on a month to month contract and they signed me up for a yearly one. Thanks Retro!

I love Retro. Used to go to Flying Hills and Colonial and this couldn't be more of an upgrade. All new equipment (and they actually maintenance it), ton of classes, smoothie bar, big turf area for functional training and more.

Amazing gym. I've been to almost every club in Berks county and none offer the variety Retro does. Free weights, cardio, classes, smoothie bar, child sitting, tanning. They have it ALL!

Been in a lot of gyms and this one by far takes the cake. There is something for everyone. From your everyday fitness enthusiast to your hardcore bodybuilder. Plus the smoothie bar makes it convenient for the people on the go who need to replace that burnt energy with something healthy. THIS IS THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!!!

Definitely think its a pretty good place to work out! equipment is nice and the staff is friendly. in the beginning i thought the daily cleaning could have been better but it seems like they made some changes in the passed 6 months so i believe they deserve a high rating!

I’ve been to tons of gyms and this is my favorite.. it is bright, clean, and has all the equipment I need. Plenty of squat racks & bars, open space for different types of training- not over crowded with machines. The staff is super friendly- whenever I come to Reading to visit working out @ Retro is one of the highlights!
