Absolutely love this gym! Everyone at Retro is like family to me... the trainers, the employees, and the other members. I will never go to another gym!

This is a great place to workout. It's very clean, they offer lots of hand sanitizer and wipes to clean the equipment. They have a lot of great equipment which makes it easy to get a good workout in.

Toooooo much drama amongst the management and staff, they don’t honor their sign-up agreements and discussions, pressure people not to cancel memberships during a pandemic, and don’t take advice/ recommendations well. Some of their trainers are TOP notch but the overall place is not well-managed.

My wife and I love the gym and the staff. The daycare employees are super great with our three year old son and they give us peace of mind while we work out. Keep it up!

I understand that people like to have their cell phones for emergencies. There are far too many people holding conversations on their cellphones loudly. This is distracting to people who come to the gym to workout and not talk on the phone. Many gyms have rules regarding this. A personal trainor should know that if you don't want to waste your time in the gym and you want to get results, you need to be focused on your training not the phone.

It’s a great clean gym, has easy to use equipment and a very friendly staff! Upbeat atmosphere inspires me to keep working out.

Love this gym. I have from the first day I stepped in. Always clean, machines always working or being worked on, friendly helpful staff, good energy and vibe among the gym gores, good location and good smoothies.

Retro Fitness Kenhorst provides an exceptionally friendly, welcoming, nonjudgemental, and supportive environment for all of its members. It offers an extensive amount of fitness options & fitness plans to suit people of all ages and abilities. Their well-trained staff takes a very personalized approach in helping individuals determine their specific fitness needs and assisting them in creating an effective fitness plan. From there on they provide as much guidance and encouragement as you need to reach your goals. For people who are currently concerned about a safe and healthy environment - Retro Fitness Kenhorst is a very large gym that has ample space for social distancing, and the staff has gone above & beyond to set up a system & protocol that protects its members (along with heightened cleansing measures). The staff does their best to make every member's experience a very positive one. I am grateful to be a part of such an outstanding gym!

I just joined retro and so far so good! Not sure about the negative reviews about membership. They were very clear with me about the fees and the guidelines. I feel people maybe do not listen well maybe.I like the no commitment because I do move a lot. The space is very clean and I plan to take advantage of the classes soon which looks like they have plenty to offer. I do wish it was just a little bigger. It can get kind of congested in some areas especially in busy hours. You also get a free assesment which is great and a plan to get you started. I am looking forward to my time here.

I really like this place when I am in town visiting my mum. They actively take care of their facility. A good level of energy between 0900-1100 but not crowded. Lots of blokes who work hard and that motivates an old dog to work harder. Socio-economic mix is what gyms should be: a level field steeped in camaraderie where we can all work toward our better selves.
