They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your membership. When I finally got through to someone who could cancel they lied and charged me for many months. DO NOT SIGN UP they make impossible to cancel and the gym is too pack to work out anyways

They sell way too many memberships so that even when it is not a busy time there are still way too many people. However, they have good machines, lots of space, and the place is clean but I can't enjoy any of that since there's always way too many people.

Closing staff plays obnoxious opera music 30 minutes before close in not-so-subtle attempt to force people out. Nice

Fantastic Gym. Edge Cinema is a pleasant surprise. Sometimes I just go to the gym to watch movies on the elliptical / treadmills. Causes me to workout more days a week than I normally would. That's a win in my book!!

When this GYM opened was extremely clean!! Now it’s extremely dirty , specially the floor & the restrooms!! Employees sitting at their offices doing nothing and no one even bothers to re-fill the sanitised wipes dispensers , they’re all EMPTY!! very sad to see this GYM is going down :(

While I like the individuals I have dealt with at this location, the overall company is a fraudulent joke. I have been charged $480 on two individual instances without my approval. They are currently holding onto almost $1k of my cash. The location cannot cut checks so I was told it would take several weeks before I would be reimbursed via check for the first $480 charge. After I was charged an additional $480, without permission, corporate stated they would send payment for both instances via expedited FedEx. Several days later I am still waiting for reimbursement to make this right. The company recklessly pulled money from my funds and now is unwilling to make right in a timely manner. On top of the fact they require long contracts to enjoy the facility’s offerings, they also are negligent in their cash management and processes related to their customers. Avoid if you don’t like greedy corporations and don’t have time to chase after your hard earned money.

Cinema is a waste of space and almost always empty. Never enough squat racks/equipment unless you want to come in at an inconvenient time (11pm at night if you have any energy left to workout). Way too many members and always waiting for equipment...I would rather pay twice the price and have them cap membership. Inconvenient cancellation policy with countless complaints from Edge members. Impossible to cancel utilizing staff at the club, you will need to call a number and get the runaround.

I signed up here because it was my local gym, and at first glance the facilities are nice and the price is unbeatable, but the first two times I went I could barely get on a single machine I wanted. That's part of why the membership is so cheap. It's unbelievably overcrowded (probably because people get sucked into the cheap rates, but you get what you pay for).That was nothing compared to the fact that after realizing I made a huge mistake and wanted to cancel my membership they wouldn't let me cancel unless I stated I had a medical disability to do so. I thought this was a joke, but the service rep told me that I was straight up stuck in my membership for life without that reason to cancel unless I joined the military or moved (which I had no intent to do). Do not be charmed by the low rates. You'll be stuck going to an overcrowded gym your entire life. Overall, it's a beyond unethical business model and you will have to improvise almost every workout. Do not make the same mistake I did.

I love this location the best. I’ve been to the Sterling, Warren, Farmington and Westland ones and I love this one the best. The gym is well maintained, I feel 100% comfortable no one leaving phones or bottles by machines to hog them. Machines are rarely broken compared to other locations. Even while busy and crowded I can still get a good workout in I would only say they need to get better with making the shakes at the shake counter.

Read and ask regarding cancellation policy closely. They refer you to a third party off-shore call center and prolong your subscription for as long as possible. You will need to provide multiple documents for any type of cancellation. Extremely dissapointed in customer care and customer service.
