I love the Edge, it’s the best gym around!! I wanted to get an LA membership, but I took a tour at both places, and the energy at Edge was so much better, the people were so much nicer, and the equipment is also so much better. They have a lot of facilities, they don’t have a pool, but they have a women’s area, and group classes, such as Zumba and yoga, and so many other types, and they have a spinning studio for spinning classes!!! The craziest part is they have this thing called the Edge cinema where it’s pretty much like a theater except instead of sitting down, they have treadmill and elliptical’s for you to walk or run or jog while watching a movie and they put on different movie every day, which is pretty awesome and motivating for someone who isn’t very motivated to start working out or do cardio. Their personal training program is also pretty awesome. Of course it costs a little bit, but it helped so much and their trainers are absolutely amazing and so nice and helpful. Also, just the people that work out there are very nice and helpful like they’ll even correct you on your form or you can take turns with them while using the machines if you’re waiting for some thing, it’s just an overall great environment.

I went in for a free trial and the sales manager TJ used high pressure sales tactics to force me to sign up for a year long membership. Now they refuse to cancel my membership even tho I have never even used it and feel uncomfortable returning there. If I could give zero stars I would. Not to mention the gym is over crowded at all hours of the day making it nearly impossible to workout. Worst gym I’ve ever been to.

Super clean gym. Shout out to Dana. She is always there to help with any questions. Even when she has clients, she acknowledges me and my kids when we walk in or leave. She jumped up from her office to make my daughter a shake because no one had gotten to us yet. She definitely is one to go above and beyond. Dana is a phenomenal leader. You can tell she genuinely cares. (4 out of 5 stars because childcare is not always open due to lack of staff)

I was in town for work and came across this gym after trying Powerhouse Gym Troy and looking for an alternative. As a powerlifter I definitely recommend The Edge!

Gym is clean and nice. However, it is way too packed from 4pm to 8pm everyday since 2023. Normally have to wait 5-10 mins for a machine.

The gym is filthy dirty and equipment is not maintained. There is a lack of free exercise equipment with a total of 1 BOSU for the entire gym. The battle ropes grip has been shredded for months. The free exercise area is NEVER cleaned and when I inquired about it I was told it’s not company policy to clean it. Huh?I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone!

Locker rooms are not clean, lockers falling apart and dirty. Lots of people stick their stuff in lockers without a lock. Spinning classes are mediocre and hardly any available through the week. A decent selection of machines.

Halfway decent gym if you are looking for something affordable. My main complaint is that the staff lead you to believe you are on a month by month contract when you sign up until it comes time to cancel. You are then booted off to a 3rd party, offshoring support staff that tell you that you need to move 25 miles away or be struck by lightning to cancel your membership. It would take me 30 minutes to drive to a location from where I have moved, but because it is not far enough away in mileage, I am up creek with about a paddle and paying for a gym I will never see again.Based on my experience, I would recommend that everyone stay as far away from Edge as possible.

I’ve been a member here since they first opened this location and it used to be THE BEST gym around in my opinion. Now, it has fallen off the map for me. The equipment is phenomenal and I love the staff, but holy mother of ***, I CANNOT believe they are still accepting new members. Good luck trying to actually get a good pump with how many people are here. No matter how creative I get with my exercises, there is absolutely NO ROOM for training. It has become so congested and I am sad that I am looking to transition to a new gym. I’m not saying that it is a bad place, but my personal opinion is that a gym needs to be all work and no play. Too much socialization and grouping happening and it just ain’t the right vibe for me! No disrespect, but just my thoughts! :)
