Joined this gym while I was in town visiting for San Diego and loved every second of it. It's truly a community vibe. I really don't like exercise for the sake of it, but now I'm realizing the detriment of my former occupation and sedentary ways. I have not been in for awhile due to COVID, injury, illness and family obligations. Now I'm in dire need of safe strengthening and stretching according to my physical therapy requirements. This is the only gym I actually feel safe and comfortable in. It has an unpretentious and non-judgmental atmosphere. There are knowledgeable people there who I know who will help me to be sure I use the equipment safely and properly, using good form for the exercises I need. A bit of coaching helps me keep on track.

Gets a little busy around 5/6pm. Equipment is clean, staff are nice. Can be loud from all the weighs. Not very many mirrors, if you are into that. The green can get crowded too. Patrons are polite and nobody will bother you, which is nice.

I love Flex! It’s the only gym I have ever felt totally comfortable in compared to franchised gyms. Its not an overwhelming space and Tom is very welcoming. If I don’t know how to use equipment staff is usually available to help. Highly recommend.

Knockout's been around for years and they never stop improving. Staff is welcoming to EVERYONE, facilities are clean and well kept. I keep joining/leaving as my schedule changes, and I never hesitate to go back. Great spot - shop local!!

Friendly staff, always clean, patrons are generally respectful and non-judgemental. Lots of serious gym goers but also a mix of people who are casual or just starting to try to get in better shape. Very convenient location and the monthly fee is reasonable. No frills but that's perfect, I don't need a tanning bed.
