For the most part the gym serves it purpose. Though the place could use some up grades but convinced the experience could be so much better. Staff is real chilled and that makes a difference. Peace King & Queen

I like this gym. It exceeds my fitness goals and the staff is very friendly. Parking can be a bear, but I've learned the best time to go. It can get a little crowded, but for a small neighborhood gym, it works for me

The Good: Most of staff are very nice / helpful -- Pocket facility is the closest 24-Hour gym to my houseThe Bad: Old facility - ofter stifling (staff have to prop doors open) - bad odor - old equipment - a great number of exercise machines (e.g. elipticals, treadmils) are repeatedly broken and out of service for extended times - small and mostly overcrowded - unclean - people sneeze, cough, spit, sweat and bleed on mchines and only rarely do they even wipe the machines down when done - staff use to go through just about hourly wiping down and sanitizing machines, but haven't done that in several years nowBottom Line: This 24-Hour facility has slid onto the bottom tier - I (and a large number of other current members) are looking forward to checking out the new California Family Fitnes Center (A Sacramento owned and operated company since 1991) opening in the Pocket area soonNOTE: Be very leery of the 5-star rating someone gave to this facility 3 years ago -- it just doesn't jive with reality

Four stars for the excellent staff and convenience for anyone living in the Garcia Bend area. The fact that this gym is "small time" means it is not for everyone. But that makes it more appealing to me personally.

Tiny, overcrowded, 2 benches to work out on, and outdated equiptment. Was told to go to the Laguna one when i asked about adding a bench. Other than that, staff is friendly which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

As everyone said the staff is great.. it's only a few mins from my home that's the main reason I go.. the club is way too small. and Fri-Sun are the only great workouts I can get due to less equipment than people. I get a great price so that and the great staff keep me coming. . Otherwise, the gym is the worst one I've ever been a member of but I'm happy to have it nearby.

Hasn't been updated in years. Looks like a gym from the 1950s. Staff is pretty nice tho.

I live only 5 minutes away but I refuse to workout at this location. The environment and size of the gym is very disappointing. The locker rooms, spa and pool are very old. 24hr has been saying they will upgrade this location but I've been hearing that for 3 years.
