California Family Fitness - Downtown

I love this gym I go all week at lunch and on Saturday’s around 1pm and it’s not too full. I wish they had a pool that’s my only complaint.

I really enjoy the K street location. The gym is clean and spacious. The roof deck and towel service are awesome and the staff are ALWAYS friendly.

I find that CalFit on the K St. Mall in downtown Sacramento is my favorite Gym. They have wonderful instructors. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, they will help with assessing your physical health and help you achieve your goals. At 75 years of age, I needed to regain muscle mass and flexibility. There in a lot of excellent equipment and both a steam room and dry sauna in the locker rooms. I highly recommend California family fitness for all ages.

This is a great, quick workout option to dive in and out during the work day. I take a pretty consistent lunch break around the noon hour and, since I'm focused on cardio right now, I'm happy to say that there is always good access to an excellent exercise machine and environment. Staff is busy at lunch but still friendly and mostly willing to help. I get everything I need for midweek workout at this gym.

I'm Active Duty Air Force, I've been coming to CalFit Downtown for 3 years now. This exact location was my first ever Civilian Gym, I am very glad I came here first to set the standard for me. The facilities are always kept up. I'm a happy customer.

It has very nice equipment.The Staff is cool.It's clean and I think the people in/from Sacramento will like it.But...I'm from Los Angeles and NOT gay, so i just don't like the Vibe here in the gym or the City.Your experience may be different then mine.Check it out.

I have been a member at Cal Fit for many years and the downtown location is by far the best! The three levels offer lots of space and NEW equipment to use. The staff is always friendly and even though I've never taken the group personal training, I usually workout around the same time as them and everyone looks like they are getting their money's worth. The smoothie bar is fire. You can use your checkin points to pay for them so its a win win! Sometimes the crackhead bums outside can be a little worrisome but for the most part they leave you alone.

It’s quiet and friendly. The equipment is in great condition and pretty well organized and clean compared to other locations and other gyms in general. Very spacious so you don’t feel cramped or like you’re in someone else’s personal space. That’s a bigger deal at the gym than people realize. Overall it’s a great spot to work out. Everything you need and then some!

Great space for a good workout with tons of equipment. There's also a heated pool, basketball court and an area the kids can play.
