Chris and his team are awesome! As a beginner, and someone who isn't very fit, I expected to feel a little intimidated and even have a few moments of embarrassment...but these feelings and moments never happened. Chris celebrated my progress, no matter how incremental. And I never felt like a "fatty" or a "slow poke" or pitiful. This encouraged me to push myself (but not too hard) and now I'm at the point where I look forward to the sessions!

I train here 2 -3 times a week. The curriculum is designed to make you tougher, more confident, and defense capable. Chris knows how to adjust the level of sparring and grappling to your current stage of progress . It is a good balance of fighting, grappling, and weapons defense training.
