I’m disappointed with the communication regarding changes to signing up for classes. I am also frustrated with being charged to use the app to sign for said classes. If anything else happens I will probably quit

Best decision I've made in a long time. As a swimmer, an outside pool is the closest thing to nirvana there is. The entire facility is spotless, the ladies' locker room is always stocked (thank you, Maria, Rosa and Althelia) and super clean, everything works, and there are tons of classes. The segregated steam/sauna/Jacuzzi are a huge plus for women who need a respite from ogling. Staff is on top of it, first rate. This is money well spent. They have lots of bike racks right in front of the entrance where they're supposed to be so you can ride in and not have to fight traffic.

Hands down one of the best gym options in Sacramento. I love the staff and the cleanliness of the place. I had moved to the Monterey area and when I came back to Sac, I knew I would return. It feels like home. The staff were even happy I returned. Great community.

Absolutely in love with this place! So much more than a gym. It's not so crowded that I have to wait to use the weights or machines. Plenty of floor space all throughout the facility for stretching or lifting weights in the mirror. Im rather new to working out but the staff and patrons here make me feel so comfortable, not in the least bit intimidated. If you're looking for a comfortable place with plenty of extra activities then this is the place for you!

Hands down the best gym in the Sacramento area, although the prices are higher than average keep in mind you get unlimited towel service, clean areas with around the clock janitorial service, one of the only gyms with a large steam room and sauna for both men and women, as well as you get amazing personal trainers like Tyler, super friendly staff, Parking Garage access or street parking, a two story complex featuring basketball court, pool, jacuzzis, Large Cardio and weight rooms, plenty of space to wonder and do your stretches. The building also has an awesome hair cutting salon. There is also a private conference room. You can also get a daily laundry service included in your 2nd tier membership!

I joined this athletic club a few months ago and really like it. The staff is GREAT!! Everyone is professional and friendly and they always welcome you by your name. The amenities are plentiful and I love that they have a pool! My cons: it’s an old church/ school with a gym and that’s exactly what it looks like inside. They use the old podiums for shelving and the upstairs corridors look like a typical dark hallway with conference rooms, which are now workout rooms. It’s dark and drab and is in serious need of a makeover since it seems to be stuck in 1984 and I should know since I was in high school then 😱. The music they play is old rock, again someone is stuck in a time warp. It’s not very uplifting or energetic so bring your earbuds and playlist. Having said all that, the equipment is new and current. There are multiple rooms for various classes and exercises. So overlook the old outdated style and it’s a great gym, which is really why I’m there anyway. I would recommend this place.

Great place, I personally go here for the spa. Aside from the old white guy that looks like Jesus and doesn’t honor personal space what so ever (I sat down to check a message on my phone away from the spa area mind you, and this guy walks right up in front of me with his junk 6 inches from my face to kindly remind me that there are no phones allowed in the spa area… cool dude, now get your shriveled thing away from me please and go monitor the hallways), I would say it’s a pretty relaxing place.Great pool, large steam and dry sauna, and also whirlpool. If communal showers bother you then this isn’t your place. For the most part aside from the occasional nuance, it’s awesome. Staff members are genuine, and facilities are relatively clean for the age of the buildings.Thumbs up.

Capitol athletic club is an amazing experience.I feel blessed to have the privilege of being a member. I have a limited membership which has worked perfect for me because I only come to town twice a month. While I’m here I have time to kill and look forward every time I comeAnd have the best workouts here in my life. Very relaxing too, unlimited clean towels, I feel like a king every time I enter the place and leave especially with the free parking validation and the shuttle. Hands down best kept secret athletic club in Sacramento.I highly recommend at least going in and asking for a free three day trial pass, you won’t regret it. Staff is awesome. Sincerely,Chris

Awesome & friendly people and staff. Awesome gym. There’s no shortage of towels and they are always on top of cleanliness. Separate women’s sauna/jacuzzi from men. May seem a bit on the higher price range, but the services, amenities, and staff support definitely is worth it. Brooke has been very helpful in answering all of my questions.
